From your article (that China officials knew of Coronavirus in December, ordered cover-up)...

....Rather than hunkering down to contain the virus, Wuhan officials went ahead with their annual potluck dinner for 40,000 families.

The alleged cover-up continued when representatives from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention visited Wuhan Jan. 8, where officials intentionally withheld information that hospital workers had been infected by patients — a telltale sign of contagion.....
~~~
Unreal.
Flu deaths are widely reported. I shouldn’t need to foot note those stats.
A link when you are sober would be helpful. Oh. 1000 SARS deaths in the US? Did you have to go full elbow length to pull that one out?
The daily thread is for posting related information about the nCOVID-2 and not kicking the sand mound. Is that why you are here?
Tongue in cheek. One way to solve the overabundance of men to women with the one child policy.
You might want to inject estrogen into yourself for the protective effect.
Filters are good. They don’t have an expiration date on them.
The reply, to Surgeon General, are my thoughts, exactly....
Seriously people- STOP BUYING MASKS!
They are NOT effective in preventing general public from catching #Coronavirus, but if healthcare providers can’t get them to care for sick patients, it puts them and our communities at risk!
https://t.co/UxZRwxxKL9— U.S. Surgeon General (@Surgeon_General) February 29, 2020
All due respect but: this statement makes no sense. Either masks ARE effective or they are not. They won’t work for the public but DO for health care workers? Sorry but I was told that the masks are more for “the other guy” than protecting the person with the mask! Which is it? https://t.co/8OzHLvhsY9— Graham Ledger (@GrahamLedger) March 1, 2020
“India starts hunt for alternatives to China to source over 1K items”
From textiles fabrics, refrigerators and suitcases to antibiotics such as amoxicillin, erythromycin & metronidazole, vitamins and insecticides, the government has begun a hunt for 1,050 items from across the world as supplies from China, which accounts for over 50% of India’s imports, are hit due to coronavirus.
A key theme of the minister’s discussions with government agencies and industry representatives will be to implement a plan to push the export of 500-550 items where India has the potential to fill the gap created by China.
A preliminary analysis following detailed discussions by the commerce department has shown that the situation is particularly grim in the case of pharma and chemicals, smartphones, electronics and white goods and plastics, where India depends on China for a bulk of its imports.
Gonna be funny if they try to enforce mask only situations later.
I got the last ones at my CVS weeks ago. And my wife wears them. So, tell the SG to get his own. He should have been paying attention.
I'll pass on that. Estrogen seems to be protective in other disorders, specifically one we have been studying.
I'm going to stick to hand washing, distancing, and both NAC and monolaurin.
I wish we were South Korea in some ways. They are testing comprehensively and alerting via text the location and time of current infections.
The CDC screwed this up royally.
I bought a stash of N95 masks, and other protective gear in 2014. I always have a stock of bleach which I rotate, hydrogen peroxide health care disinfectant spray and wipes. And I have the powder to make several hundred gallons of bleach. Usually 6 rolls of duct tape and several rolls of plastic(enough to cover the basement floor of a house).
I always keep extra supplies of trash bags, t.paper, etc. We stocked our regularly used supplies over a period of time by buying one to use and one (more if on sale)for the pantry until we had at least 6 months for most stuff.
During the month, we restock whatever we used when it’s on sale. Things that rarely go on sale, we buy during the first week of the month-so we restocked early this month, and today I noticed that lots of stuff is beginning to be out of stock now, online as well as at the local market.
I agree that the SG should have been paying attention. PPPPPPP=prior proper planning prevents p*** poor performance. LOL
