This is the continuation of the Thread.

Kinda late. Thought you might have caught a bug or something.
Bingo. Out here in Texas they might string me up. Let’s ask the Asian Americans to kick it off then.
Ugh. Im gonna need more preps. And a bigger closet.
4.8% fatality rate.
Analysis of 50,404 patients (infected persons)
That's a bit over 0.8% higher mortality than the numbers reported out of Hubei Province., and with (apparently) the majority of cases yet to be resolved.
This of course only applies to those who qualify to be tested. Why do I suspect Party Officials with a sniffle come before bricklayers with a deep cough?
Yup.
Thought I was pretty much done.
Now I’m thinking of another walmart run first thing tomorrow.
And a cpl bottles of vet antibiotics.
Also a cpl 12pks of heartworm pills for dog.
In a pinch she could eat people food and/or venison that the people don’t care to eat. But heartworm pills are necessary here.
Even though no 100% effective precautions or measures exist, it make sense to wear a mask, etc.: 1) To reduce the viral load on your immune system. Maybe not to zero, but very low. If low enough, the immune system might contain the infection with no symptoms or further transmission. 2) To attempt to delay infection until a vaccine and/or antiviral is available or the virus mutates to non-viable status and disappears.
Similar arguments can be made for use of supplements such as NAC and monolaurin.
To take no precautionary action whatsoever is not rational.
There will always be some younger people who die of the flu, even the plain old regular annual flu, of whatever type. Sometimes they have pre-existing conditions. Theyre smokers, asthmatics, or even simply have had pneumonia in the past from some other cause (which scars the lungs and makes them more vulnerable to getting infections again). Or sometimes not. But people are not dropping like flies and weve got to get a grip on the hysteria.
Thats garbage. Where is your source? I call BS.
NO ONE here can claim they weren’t warned. It’s no longer us paranoid types, it is the LARGEST consumer goods firm in the world OFFICIALLY warning us.
“Proctor and Gamble, one of the world’s biggest “everyday product” manufacturers, has now officially warned that 17,600 of its products could be affected and disrupted by the coronavirus. The company’s CFO, Jon Moeller, said at a recent conference that P&G used 387 suppliers across China, shipping more than 9,000 materials, according to CIPS.org.”
Sure, whatever you say boss. You must have the inside scoop and those of us who have been following the stats and case details for the past few months must be imagining things. Lol
Thank you for the serious reply. Other than wearing a mask at this point, I do most of that stuff. I never particularly liked crowds.
My point in asking the question is according to many people here there's really nothing we can do. It's too late. It's now out-of-control. No precaution is 100% effective so it's hopeless. We're all doomed no matter what we do.
Is this 'the end of mankind'? Some people seem to believe it is.
I've never lived through a global pandemic so I don't know how this will play out.
I'll continue being careful but according to many being careful is not enough. If being careful and cautious isn't enough, what can anyone do?
SELL!!
:-)
As an aside, I received my order of Ambroxol/Mucosolvan from the Ukraine. This appears to be a highly effective non-narcotic cough syrup available just about everywhere in the world except the Americas! Dumb!!! (Apparently never submitted to the FDA for approval). Also used in the treatment of respiratory diseases associated with viscid or excessive mucus, with potential application to CoV.
Thanks. Geez I get off the news for a month and all hell brakes loose. Don’t have cable, can’t get antenna TV.
Sure escalated quickly, didn’t it?
The guy on Agenda-Free TV on youtube is doing live commentary as updates happen..
“If being careful and cautious isn’t enough, what can anyone do?”
Very little, as you already know. If you’re worried enough, and have the capability/means, perhaps totally isolate yourself completely from others (I’m inching close to that). We can now go months without skipping a beat.
Otherwise, try to stay healthy - don’t go outside without proper clothing...dress warm. If you get into a situation where you may otherwise get sick, such as improperly dressed for cold/wet weather...don’t do it, go back and get another layer! Don’t weaken your defenses. Not much, but better than nothing.
