High heels can be notoriously difficult to walk in, but Hillary Clinton has an ingenious trick.
While speaking onstage today at the Clinton Global Initiative meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the former first lady wore a pair of black pumps with anti-slip pads pasted to the bottom. Apart from the shoes, Clinton wore one of her signature pantsuits, choosing a dark color with a matching shell underneath.
Her footwear was a pair of black pumps with a pointed toe and kitten heel. The shoes appeared to have a smooth sole, which can lead to slippage on wet floors and other slick surfaces. Anti-slip pads are made of non-skid material, reducing the likelihood of sliding or even falling in high heels. They also can increase the life span of shoes by preventing wear and tear on the sole.
Throughout her decades in the public eye, Clinton has worn many hats, but one thing has remained virtually unchanged: her penchant for demure, comfort-focused footwear. The Yale Law School alum tends to choose flats or heels with heights of two inches or less, most often picking understated colorways like black, tan and white. Past worn brands of Clintons include Miu Miu, Salvatore Ferragamo and Chloe.
While Clinton is a millionaire, her heel hack is actually very affordable: We spotted anti-slip pads on Amazon.com for as little as $6. Below, weve rounded up some of our favorite options.

Hillary Clinton has an ingenious trick
The only trick HillaryClinton ever had was sucking off a boy from Arkansas and turning it into a graft and corruption machine to make her a millionaire.
Oh and I forgot, theres the one were she has people killed and everyone pretends its suicide.
$6 hack? Not going to read the article but presume it is a bottle of hot sauce. I mean, she she must keep a bottle in her shoes in case she forgets her purse...
ANY decent sized hardware store sells this type of material in ROLLS for less than $10. It is used at the bottom of a drawer to keep flatware, kitchen utensils, or even in the garage to keep tools from slipping around the drawer.
I have a roll in cream color, and I have seen it in chocolate brown. Ordinary household scissors will cut it into any size or shape you wish.
I heard that HOWLING from here!
How do you get cloven hooves in a heel??
AK= Alaska
AR= Arkansas
Correction: FEET
I knew what you meant but given it was Hillary, “feed” sounded good too.
I know, I messed up that post. LOL
bert, lol, listen dude, we wear them because they make our legs look fantastic, not because we want to be taller. You have no insight into this issue.
Lol, that never gets old.
I wish there was audio from inside the plane. I’m sure she was cursing like a sailor when she got up.
I find that women are just as height obsessed as men.
Madam du Pampadour circa 1755.
She set the style and in the depicted dress certainly did not want to show off her legs. She was insecure about her height and compensated with Heels
You are a hoot.
Indeed. A "hack" should make one say, "Oh! What a great idea...never thought of that!" The anti-slip pads have been around for 40 years and are sold everywhere.
This article was just to get her name in print because...
she's running?
How long has it been since anyone has seen Huma? Ages for sure! Has she been banished OR????????
So you would prefer that we just forget how physically incapacitated she is?
Because the gaslight presstitutes certainly aren’t going to remind us.
