I doubt very many people thought they would be seeing this two days after the race. There goes the Grace of God..and Guardian Earnhardt..and Nascar Engineering...and the "newman bar"

But thank God he’s on his feet so soon after that horrific crash. I imagine it will take a while for him to recover, but this seems almost like a miracle.

Someone said he was known as No Neck Newman..or something like that.... Yep, I see it in that photo. That thick short neck probably was a blessing in that crash.

The crash was bad because when he flipped the first time he was upside down and got hit in the driver side door by a car going over 200 MPH. I am amazed that he survived.

Apparently there is a mod who doesn't believe Newman surviving this crash--much less being released from the hospital this soon--is newsworthy.
"Chat material" I believe is the way he/she put it.
