COLUMBIA, S.C. Busy in Nevada before Saturday’s caucus vote, former Vice President Joe Biden is sending one of his top surrogates down to South Carolina less than two weeks ahead of the state’s Democratic presidential primary.
Former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who in 2004 ran for president as the Democratic nominee, will join Biden’s sister, Valerie Biden Owens, and Biden’s senior campaign advisor Symone Sanders on Biden’s “Soul of the Nation” bus tour through the state.

I’m reminded of a vignette from the Kerry campaign for President in 2004. Wanting to come across as a man of the people, Kerry and his entourage made a show of getting off the campaign bus and very publicly going into a Burger King to order carryout burgers, fries and soda. When they got on the bus they threw out the BK food and ate champignons, brie cheese and fancy finger sandwiches.

I’d like to see Slow Joe win it and get his mojo working again. Seriously. Because I want to see a brokered convention. Can you imagine the entertainment? People shouting over each other, fistfights breaking out, single issue protesters disrupting everything, chairs being thrown, general anarchy, the whole nine yards. The Clinton Crime Syndicate would be lurking in the background, looking for an opening, Bloomberg and Soros would have their rent-a-stooges instigating dissent, I mean it would be glorious. Just glorious.
