NASCAR driver Ryan Newman is awake and speaking with family and doctors, a day after a fiery crash near the finish line of Daytona 500. Newman's racing team, Roush Fenway Racing, offered up the update Tuesday and said it will continue to provide details as they become available. "Ryan Newman remains under the care of doctors at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida. He is awake and speaking with family and doctors," the statement read.

All I remember he was a very stand up guy. Giving lots of time to charities and church.
BUT, things change
Really, WTF????
I didn’t say I was going to bet the next race. I may or may not. Depends on if I see an opportunity.
And AGAIN....what does that have to do with it. THis has got to be the weirdest stalker that I Have ever had here..and I Have had some doozies.
My posts can’t possibly effect the bets. You think bookies are going to change the line because of my posts.
Please keep your nutjob posts away from me.
I can see what you mean with that picture..
....but it’s like when people see Jesus or Elvis in a piece of toast.
It’s hard to unsee once your brain sees it. ;-)
I dont think Ive ever seen a NASCAR driver with his face wrapped in flame retardant bandages. Do they even use them? I thought the flame-resistant material was embedded inside the helmet itself.
more like a balacava I think..image is the same...but I suppose I am seeing the seat.
Not sure if its still the norm but drivers used to always wear a Nomex head sock.
for what it’s worth

talks about the fireproof gear..and then there is this which is pretty horrifying
Cox, a writer at MotorSportNews.net and co-host of Mecum Auctions on NBCSN, had first, second and third-degree burns over 7% of his body despite wearing all recommended protective gear. While 7% may not sound like much, the part where he describes the skin on the back of my right thumb dripped off my hand. A second article shows videos of the fire, which one can watch only knowing that Cox recovered.
this has got to do with you intentionally trashing someone’s reputation to alter unknowingly people’s minds to gain an advantage...
you’re accusing me of stalking when all i’m doing is making sure you adhere to the truth proves you’re attempting to employ diversionary tactics to avoid the subject being addressed...
So you are stalking me because you think Bookies in Vegas and all over the world are going to change the betting lines based on my posts about Ryan Newman.
On a race that I may or may not bet...haven’t even looked at it yet
You are insane
I have heard people whining that he was at fault but the way I look at it, the driver behind him bumped him out of the way and almost killed him in the process
btw, probabably going to parlay the Bucks if there are no injuries on Thursday. they have been a huge money maker for me.
Better keep a close eye on my posts about Giannis...
Vegas Bookies are watching every one of my posts to move the line.
You are ridiculous.
I feel like I am in some kind of weird stalker twilight zone...since my posts apparently move bookie betting lines...
I will just leave this here..(and I thought Flopping Lowry in the All Stars game was bad)

you are are a liar for attempting to make people believe that you know anything about nascar when you really don’t...
good luck on your gambling habit...
Exactly
keep a close lookout for my Giannis book making line movement posts...because I bet heavy on the Bucks if the situation is right.
oh I forgot..the other team I bet big on is Tampa Bay Lightning...so watch out for posts about them. they are also playing Thursday. Will have to see what Thurday injuries are reported. OMG..I might post all day about them.
(YOU ARE RIDICULOUS)
Great news!
You must have missed the tweet from Chris, Hamlins spotter, last night. He took all the blame for the burnout post race. He said he took off his mike to run over to Newmans spotter to see if they could hear Newman on the radio. That is normally the first thing a driver does is tell the crew chief and spotter if he is okay. Chris wasnt talking to Hamlin at that moment.
As for what Hamlin knew on his own , the worst of the crash happened behind him as he and Blaney were racing to the finish line. It took a few minutes for the seriousness of the crash to be fully comprehended by those who were not behind it.
Thank you Lord
