I don’t think I’ve ever seen a NASCAR driver with his “face wrapped in flame retardant bandages.” Do they even use them? I thought the flame-resistant material was embedded inside the helmet itself.
more like a balacava I think..image is the same...but I suppose I am seeing the seat.
Not sure if it’s still the norm but drivers used to always wear a Nomex head sock.
