Harrison Ford is dipping his toe into political waters, noting in a recent interview that talking about politics has become unavoidable.
Days after the 77-year-old actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and called President Donald Trump a “son of a b----,” he was asked about his recent forays into talking politics in an interview with CBS News. The star responded by noting that politics has become too divisive and called for a return to “the middle ground.”
"I think it's come to the point where we gotta start talking politics," Ford said. "But we gotta talk about it in a positive way. We gotta regain the middle ground. We're in these ideological enclaves. But the truth is in the middle. Progress is made in the middle."

When asked if he thought it was possible to get back to the middle ground, the Han Solo actor’s response was blunt.

Ford was on hand to promote his new film, “The Call of the Wild,” which he says spoke to his personal beliefs about climate change and human beings’ impact on the natural world.

The new "Call of the Wild" movie seems to be total liberal indoctrination and filled with political correctness - that's another that I'll be happy to avoid.
Harrison Ford is a talented actor but a fool when it comes to politics. Why do the Hollywood people all think they are smarter that the average person when it comes to politics?

We gotta start talking about hypocrisy. You know, the kind of arrogance that would lead a guy who said he loves flying so much that he would take one of his collection of private planes and fly it up the coast to go get a cheeseburger but who at the same time thinks it his place to lecture others about carbon emissions.

This is such a positive development. One almost never hears political opinions from Hollywood stars. They need to start right away so I can know what to think.
