Given that Chinese numbers are suspect, the numbers from everywhere else become more important.
Those numbers are very encouraging.
No cases yet reported in the southern hemisphere. That may or may not change by the onset of autumn next month.
If companies like Apple and Samsung (and a thousand others) don’t realize the need to bring production back to America now...well, they’ll just have to join the ash heap of history.

Are you talking about the hospitals that went up, overnight almost, weeks ago, in Wuhan?
We’re way past that being of any use, if so.
I’m concerned with India, Pakistan, and especially Turkey. All have military reasons to stay quiet about possible cases.
Much of the Southern Hemisphere has huge Chinese populations, and was the destination for many Wuhan passengers post ban.

Health authorities in Japan are hurrying to come up with effective measures to contain the spread of the new coronavirus after they found it hard to track down the infection routes of some cases.
Until recently, in most of the infection cases it was easy to identify the routes as the majority were either people who flew back from the Chinese city of Wuhan or people onboard a quarantined cruise ship near Tokyo.
The officials say the number of other domestic cases increases day by day. They confirmed seven new patients on Friday and another 12 on Saturday.

It’s a capability that some have better than others - the ability to visualize the future, given a set of inputs. Maybe think of it like chess - the grandmasters can think 10 moves ahead (or maybe 5, or whatever), but I’m lucky to think more than one move ahead.
But that’s chess - this one is real easy for me to see. To put it simply, China has a piece of virtually EVERYTHING used by the West now, and about the only people that I don’t blame are the Chinese...it’s not their fault that we elected idiots who sold out them. For the Republicans, it was a great way to deal with unions (simply off-shore the work), for the Democrats it was a great way to clean up the air and water (send all the pollution to China). But the problem, of course, is the sheer size of China, they could literally get their tentacles in EVERYTHING in the West, and not miss a beat - which they did. And so now we pay.
