Yeah, I know these folks may not be conservatives, but the very idea they have been in love all these years is charming.
Question: Who here at FR is married to the High School Sweetheart?
Ja Rule? What is that?
I’m married to my High School Sweetheart. Sorta. The thing is - we didn’t know each other in High School. Mrs. R2 is two years older than I. And we both went to the same High School; but we didn’t know each other then. Only later after we began dating did we make that connection.
Kobe would have been on the list.
In September, I’ll celebrate 50 years married to the same woman. I brought her back as my souvenir of Vietnam.

So, starring in a bunch of porn flicks doesn't matter?

My wife and I met at church in California when I was a Junior and she was a Sophomore. She was a greeter for the high school group. When I walked in, she took the other two girl greeters to the restroom to tell them she had dibs.
We dated for a year and then her father moved her family to Oklahoma City.
We kept in touch by mail for a year and three months. My parents were really impressed because they knew I hated to mail letters. We averaged between 3 and 4 letters a week. I arranged to visit her by hitching a ride to St. Louis for a Young Americans for Freedom convention. I saw her on the way there and on the way home.
We both arranged to go to University of Oklahoma. She passed up a teachers college in Oklahoma.
We got married just before our senior year. We celebrated our 47th anniversary last year with a cruise.

How can the Bon Jovi one be true? He was married to Heather Locklear for years.
I met my future husband when he was a senior at a rival high school and I was a junior. We started dating in June of 1979 and got married in August of 1982. We’ve been married 38 years but I swear it sure doesn’t feel like it.
