Astronaut’s dog goes bonkers when she returns home from year in space, video

The end of astronaut Christina Koch’s year in space included an emotional reunion with her dog, LBD, and a video of the moment is getting millions of views on social media.

Koch tweeted the video late Thursday, and it starts with the dog pawing at the door and whipping its tail when it sees her through a window.

That dog was so happy, it’s tail was going a mile a minute as she was coming up the walk. The Dog (God spelled backward) was a gift to us to remind us of the unconditional love that God has for us. Strong, loyal and unending.

My daughter’s little Yorkie, Lola, goes crazy every time I see her even when it’s only been a few hours since my last visit. Dogs are amazing critters.
