A Chinese woman took an Uber to a London hospital and tested positive for COVID-19, prompting fears about whether she spread the virus, according to a report.

The patient opted to take the ride-sharing service Sunday to Lewisham Hospital, where she underwent tests for the new coronavirus, Sky News reported.

She was diagnosed with the virus Wednesday and transferred to Guys and St. Thomas Hospital, the report said.

Well, the driver and anyone who uber’d after her...

plus the driver’s family and friends who may have ridden in that car.

plus anyone else in the emergency room who sat near her.

plus the medical people who attended her.

And any lab technicians who ran bloodwork for her before they realized she had the WooWoo.

The coronavirus isn't the BUBONIC PLAGUE. It's a VIRUS.
Viruses are tough buggers but they also have a lifespan. The trick is to live through their lifespan.

I couldn't get the information as to how long a virus can live in a human host. But, my guess is that TOO many Chinese are undernourished and unprotected from general diseases because of the FILTH that is China.

They have produced all the major diseases in history...the Bubonic plague to name one. FILTH.

Cleanliness CO$T$ and it appears that dead people don't count for much. It's cheaper to have filth and hope to survive.
The Chinese (not ABC's) believe in TWO things and only TWO things:

2. Money

The same can be said for the ambulance crew of multiple people who may be interacting with people that are injured/bleeding. And the hospital ER .

Either way, too many vectors.

Unless she had been in the country for a long time it was probably best she didn't drive to the hospital, They drive on the left side hard to break the habit of driving on the right side. I do wonder though if she did try to call the hospital or what ever number you call for emergencies in England.

Yep. If you suspect it is Covid-19 - call your doctor, clinic, hospital and tell them. They can ask you your symptoms and travel history.

“Fever? Cough? You just got back from Wuhan? Okay - Stay in your home in a room by yourself. We'll be right there. While you are waiting, write down the places you have been and who you have visited since you left China.”

Or -

“A cough is all? Oh - post-nasal drip? A history of sinus congestion? You haven't been out of the country in 2 years? Please just see your doctor or go the clinic at your earliest convenience.”

I imagine in the areas where the virus is, early on there will be LOTS of people going in as they think they have it.

Although I bet in China, with all of the sick people with the virus at the hospitals, people are probably staying away from the hospitals?
