There’s no maybe about it. It’s one thing to not care about chipmunks and squirrels being killed. It’s another thing to post a video here and exclaim that people have to look at it and that video involves a baby squirrel getting attacked by a cat. You really need help.
well, you do have a point about that.
but if it was let loose around me he would be dead from poisoning, a cat, or a pellet gun..and I wouldnt care whose pet he was
You and many serial killers have something in common. You both enjoy watching animals being tortured.
I tried to get a neighbor’s dog to lay off a mole once, but it was impossible. The dog steamrolled me.
The cries from the mole broke my heart.
That’s not a baby. And I didn’t exclaim anyone needed to see it other than the person who told me to get a cat to get rid of chipmunks
ROFLMAO. Just curious..do you kill mice?????
I think the whole thing was staged.
If it actually happened, I can’t imagine why anyone would post it - except for ‘fame’ or $$$ per view.
Since it was you I checked it out :)
funny :)
here is why I dont think it was staged.
squirrels dont let you pick them up and pet them like that..well..at least none that i have been around.
there was a recent article how people in a neighborhood were being terrorized by them.
Mine don’t come after me..just eat my concrete and my wiring, and my car...and all other various kinds of things of issues.
Chipmunks are incredibly smart. They can get peanut butter off a mouse trap without releasing it.
Reminds of that time they released sea otters after they had scrubbed the oil off of them and fattened them back up... only to see one or more of them snapped up by a killer whale lurking close to shore.
I think that makes you a serial killer..lol..or some such thing ;-)
I hope that poster lets mice run free in his home.
If you have to dispatch a rabbit the quickest most humane way is to thump it in the head.
Let’s go with “some such thing” :)
As brutal as I can be to a human that deserves it, I treat my little cat buddy Spaghetti with kid gloves.
12 years old and was with me through thick and thin.
It would effectively be over for anyone who hurt my little buddy.
That is funny to me given your previous history in certain circles.
There are probably a lot of people from that walk of life that feel the same way about their pets.
I don’t think that was his point.
We kill mice all the time, when they become pests. It’s unfortunate that we have to do that sometimes; but it’s a different matter when a rescued animal is being released by a kind person, and somebody thinks it’s ‘cool’ to post its violent death on the Internet.
I think it’s possible that this was staged - and that’s even more disturbing than if it just ‘happened’. But you seem to think that it’s ‘funny’, either way.
A lot of us don’t.
You do realize that squirrel is already on the menu of numerous predators including the native cat known as ‘Bob’... Grey foxes, red foxes, great horned owls, Redtail hawks, snakes, etc. And when it grows up it would dine on the eggs and chicks of birds with just as much enthusiasm as any cat. It’s what they do. They don’t just eat nuts.
It looked to me like a scenario where a rescued animal was being released.
I still think it was staged, and if so, I think that’s sick; and I think that your delight in posting it is kind of sick, too.
That’s okay. YOu dont have to think it is funny
I do
Any rodent that comes into my yard will be fair game.
I do try to protect the poison from getting into the mouths of dogs and cats, though
While walking recently, I saw a huge dog get hold of a squirrel.
Two ladies had just let him out and he was running and jumping half way up the tree trunks. Don’t know what kind of dog it was. After about the 3rd jump, he had one in his mouth and took off running with it. Don’t know if the jumping made the squirrel fall to the ground or what.
Told the ladies that if they were country, they could cook it.
