Yep. No sane person with a concern for the USA and USA citizens would ever sponsor such a bill. I really could not fathom why NY changed their laws so that people were basically committing the same crime (like stabbing people) and just let right back out on the street.

As horrible as this proposed legislation is, I don’t think we need to worry about it since Trump would never sign such a thing into law.
