Having problems with FR running slow. Any one else?

It is called A DDOS attack. They are occurring frequently now during events where conservatives want to discuss major events related to Trump. It happened last night too. I could not get into FR last night during the Speech.

It started running slow to not running at all shortly after the SoU last night for me. It is doing better today.

Seems to be a combination of things causing it.

Now it goes from slow to very slow to better to lightning fast and then slow again. Just have to have some patience, I guess. :~ /

Yeah it’s slow, and that’s real bad for us old guys ‘cause when we want to post a response by the time it loads up the posting/comments screen we have forgotten the terribly important comment we were going to make.

Had some problems on 2/5/2020 for a while with it being slow to load but that cleared up in about 30 min.

Umm I dont think your reply was unique or important.

Also I doubt if the bandwidth used to reply to a post is a lot different from just opening threads to read. (Not talking about image uploads). The amount of people accessing and reading today is probably multiple times the normal. So it could just be that.

My page refresh is very slow also.
