With the Super Bowl comes a slew of commercials vying for viewers' attention. During advertising's biggest night, companies and organizations forked over up to $5.6 million for 30 seconds with nearly 100 million people tuning into the big game.
This year, Hyundai and Jeep made the "best of" list with their whimsical humor by poking fun at Boston accents and reuniting the Groundhog Day cast, Punxsutawney Phil included. Google struck heartstrings with a quiet message about aging and remembrance. Cheetos and Doritos both played off exaggerated dancing to good effect.
Meanwhile, Pop-Tarts and a Hard Rock action-movie commercial failed to connect with viewers.

Mountain Dew Zero ad as a throwback to The Shining: Terrible.
Walmart pickup service with myriad SciFi references: Good one.
The NFL’s own ‘TakeItToTheHouse’ intro was excellent.
i thought the commercials were far better than last years and the halftime show was good...
i liked the depiction of the children in the womb and how they should be protected.
.. and they won’t show cheerleaders anymore. Go figure.
Did I miss the Clydesdales?
Red Badger didn’t write that................But agree.................
Interesting take on the kids.
i liked the crossover ads... i thought it was very creative.
“I much more enjoyed the College Football Championship; nothing but football.”
Agreed. The insane spectacle that the SB has become, coupled with the horrific pile of excrement that the Cleveland Browns have become makes me a college football fan.
Go Buckeyes!
That is true.
No...............
I thought the Walmart commercial early on grocery pickup was pretty funny.
It was not a ‘new’ idea, it has been done before..............
It has been like crazy
Do all white couples have black kids?
They were nice, too. Never had one of those.
Of course, the chance of me shelling out that kind of coin for a new Jeep pickup is pretty small. I am going to wait five, six years and try to pick one up on the used market.
Maybe I can find one that has lived a nice, soft suburban life, commuting to work and hanging out at the mall.
Evey couple is mixed race. White guy and a black woman ( never the other way around ).
I was delighted that Rick and Morty were featured in the Pringles ad.
I’m a big fan.
I liked the one where the black comedian gave his mother a phone and she called him from everywhere, including the club.
Google Loretta Remember
Alexa - what did we do before (fake news haha)
Ground hog day Jeep
Mr Peanut dies
Password Paradise
I was only half watching, but when I caught on to the MC Hammer ad I liked it. Also thought the Sam Elliot mustache was cute.
I didn’t see the halftime show, but yeah, IMO, women flaunting sexuality is another attempt to subjugate men.
Look, I am rightfully forbidden, under penalty of law, from touching any woman. Yet men, who are visually stimulated creatures, are relentlessly assaulted by women who purposefully dress and move in a deliberately sexually provocative way. Why is this? Why do women have no respect for men and dress and act with modesty?
Many men succumb to these overt sexual messages and then become subservient to women in their relentless pursuit of sexual gratification. This is the power play. Women use their sexually in a deliberately alluring manner, men respond in their designed manner, and then women claim no man should look, touch, or act in a way they deign not to accept. Again, this is the power play, an d I blame a lot of this on men who succumb to porn and allow themselves to be manipulated where they (men) become the pathetic beggars for any crumb of bread a woman may pitch their way.
