"not comfortable with the flood of false information thats allowed in its political advertising." It's called "advertising" for a reason. They're commercials for the candidates. As long as political ads are marked as political ads, and don't make libelous claims (e.g. 'candidate x does lines of cocaine for breakfast') it's up to the individual to be informed enough to not vote on the basis of a biased ad.

Steven King is still alive? I thought Cristine ran him over a decade ago?

In the days of
The Stand (uncut), I was a big fan and tried for years to remain one until he ruined his Dark Tower series by ripping off Robert Heinlein at every turn and (SPOILER): killing 'ol Randy with an sick spider after he had survived "The Finger of God" in
The Stand.
He admitted loading his gun after a stalker left his home (dumb) ... and his snowflake fans melted when he admitted he owned a gun and all reports of the incident were scrubbed from the web. He and rich, angry, old lesbian with an agenda longer than his list of published works.

King is a brilliant author, but a huge liberal and (apparently) snowflake. He probably saw one too many Trump ads on FB and couldn’t abide it anymore. It is really too bad because he has probably written more good books since 1973 than almost anyone else. Further, his characters are certainly not snowflakes. Go figure.

Now, if Mr. King would find somebody to primary Jared, his (King’s) infectious joy would be obvious to all.
Come on Stephen, lighten up, have a beer with a conservative friend (don’t have one? I will volunteer) and enjoy life for a change in good company.

I have a old college buddy that lives near Stephen King in Bangor, Maine. He said King has a reputation locally as being a pompous arrogant jackass. The thing is he owns or controls most of the media in Bangor (King owns the local radio station and one of his best buddies runs the newspaper) so there is always nothing but glowing press for anything he does, never one slightly negative story. My friend told me about how King bought out two entire rows at the local baseball park (he’s a huge baseball fan) because he didn’t want to be disturbed by the unwashed masses. He was getting a lot of criticism for it so for a grand total of one game he brought a handful of kids with him. Of course the story in the media was how the ONLY reason he bought two rows was so poor kids could watch baseball, failing to mention he did it only once for a photo-op then there was never a poor kid to be seen again in his private two rows.

I saw his whining on Twitter. I replied that CIAbook is far less restrictive to free speech and (IMHO) you can restrict your circle of “friends” far easier. On Twitter literally everyone can see you and then you block people. On CIA book you have to add friends and such, initially you see nothing.

Thats pure bovine excrement.....he quit the book of faces because he doesnt want to live through another season of conservative memes about liberal tears.

The left is mad because Facebook refuses to censor up to the level of their demands. The plebs are still allowed to make negative comments on the pronouncements of the Leftist Oligarchy and that is unacceptable to them.
Particularly telling has been the number of "laugh" reacts and negative comments under ads on FB for climate change awareness. That can not be allowed.

I'm sure he likes Twitter better because they are much more aggressive about stomping on voices that the left doesn't approve of than FB.
