According to the Board of the Department of police and border guard for the year 2019 the total number of 25000 work permits in Estonia issued to the Ukrainian nationals. This figure of course is a drop in the ocean comparing to the number of Ukrainians working in Estonia illegally.
In 2019 Estonia was experienced the flood of labor force from Ukraine, and growing problems associated with migrants from this country.
Migration of labor force from abroad is the reality of the present day. However, apart from positive influence on the Estonian economy, there are negative sides.
It is possible to identify the key negative trends that are beginning to gain momentum and becoming systematic.
No. 1: Passport and visa problem
Not everyone knows that the Ukrainian with a biometric passport can stay no more than three months in EU under 'No visa deal' and it doesn't give right to employment. Increased burden on border service of the Ministry of interior of Estonia, because it increased the flow of illegal Ukrainian penetration in Estonia.
Over the past year Estonia denied entry or deported back to their homeland dozens of Ukrainians who came on fradulent or unfounded reasons, or to say simplier tried to enter Estonia for illegal work, as well as those who the police caught red-handed on the construction sites of Tallinn and other cities or who overstayed their legal terms.
No. 2: Rental housing
This problem is twofold. Housing has become more expensive for locals and it became harder to find for visitors. It followed all the more unpleasant situations, such as, for example, rental discrimination.

Yes, it is.
That’s irrefutably true. Also to increase a number of people voting for politicians backing immigration.
Honestly wed be better off getting millions of Ukrainians then what we get the poor from central and South America.
Fixed it.
Ask a pretty blond Estonian woman to say it in Estonian
She can “no” in at least five languages. Guaranteed. Ha ha.
See post #13 and good luck with that. In humanirarian sense Ukraine now is much worse off than South America. It is closer to sub-Saharan Africa but white for some reason.
Ukriane makes jet engines and aircraft. They make the LARGEST aircraft in the world. No sub Saharan African country does that.
I am well informed. My family is coming from that place. Did you see Mad Max? They USED to come from an advanced society too. The largest aircraft in Ukraine was built by a culture unrelated to Ukraine. Jet engine production is in a process of relocation to China.
Then there is the UK
How will Estonia workers in the UK be treated on Saturday after Brexit?
Jet engine production is in a process of relocation to China.
Do you have a reference for that?
Yep, the Polish and Estonians are hardest hit.
I worked in Congo and South Sudan.
We recieved an advanced engine technology from Ukraine. Would we get rights to An-225? (China)

Ukraine has a lot of problems but it is a western nation and it is in no way close to the level of a sub Saharan African country,.
If you think a five dollar underage prostitute and a $3k average unnual wage in a collapsing post-undustrialized economy is Western then you are right.
Clearly when you said you've been to sub Saharan Africa you lied.
PS: the USA is fueling its economy on debt and is fast approaching postindustrial status. It will collapse economically one day too, and take the west with it.
I worked in Congo and South Sudan and have been to other Sub-Saharan countries. What makes you think I lied? Are you with another person who posted confirmed lies to disparage me on this thread?
Yep, US is approaching post industrial status. SF and LA show signs to it.
No posts anymore? Okay.
At least they aren’t like those Uzbeks, who will drink your battery fluid.
Uzbeks - They are the weak link in the great chain of Socialism!
I thought we agreed that the USA is de industrializing and will one day collapse in heap of debt.
There is no socialism in Uzbekistan and that Estonia has is EUSSR imports.
