A prophylactic treatment with a synthetic peptide fragment may be a possibility. The peptide provides an armored cover which blocks access to a vulnerable surface feature the virus would attack. It may very well be that the true situation is being buried in order to not frighten the public. A previous example of this was a UPI report that stated that THOUSANDS were killed in the Bahamas during Hurricane Maria (?) I think it was.
The MSM was reporting a dozen or so dead. Now I cannot find the link anymore, so I can’t prove here what I read. Any Freepers have that info?
That was then. Now there are two fringe sources I like to read, as they sometimes get “out there” news correct. I ask that you NOT give me a pounding for bringing them to the table here, but one site has a video made by a Chinese showing dead bodies on the floor of the hospital in Wuhan.
First is from Hal Turner. The headline states that 23 million are infected and 112,000 have died. His site has still photos of people dead on the streets.
The second site is from Sara Geller, and she posts a VIDEO from a Chinese woman showing dead people on the floor of the hospital. One of these two sites also mentions that doctors and nurses are also dying.

Didn’t read the article so don’t know anything about the research, but at least the title seems correct when tens of thousands had fled the city just before the lockdown took effect.
What you described during quarantines are the actions of a normal, responsible government accountable to its citizens, not the Chinese government. In reality, on the ground in Wuhan:
- The number of infected cases are believed to be in the tens of thousands (not confirmed, but you can bet it’s much higher than the official tally);
- Hospitals can’t confirm a case of the new virus unless it uses a test kit supplied only by the state, this is how the government can control the number of reported cases;
- Hospitals won’t admit any patient even with severe symptoms without a firm diagnosis; and there’s not enough facility and staff to admit even the confirmed cases;
- Countless patents are simply turned away without a diagnosis, without treatment or being quarantined;
- Medical staff are overwhelmed and short of medical supplies and are literally crying for help. The highway entrance to the city is blocked by a gigantic hole in the ground made by heavy equipment, making it difficult for goods and supplies to go in.
If they truly wanted to control the spread of the disease, they would have quarantined every sick or risky individual, however many, and there should be no need to lock down a city of tens of millions of people, especially if they cared about the welfare of the people.
Now that they don’t seem to be separating the sick from the healthy, locking up the city only exposes the healthy to extraordinary risks from which there is no escape. Maybe abandoning the people to their own devices is part of the plan, since they have apparently lost control of the situation; but they will still retain control of the total number of deaths when all is said and done.

China has problems internally with dissidents and control over its population in a world of connectivity. This could cull the herd, give them something more serious to worry about. Do you really believe china cares about its people?
