As a cord cutter of many years, I have little first-hand knowledge of how the TV networks are covering the impeachment trial. I've been accessing C-Span online and catching little parts, or as much as I can stomach.
Now for my question. Will the networks cut back or even discontinue their coverage when time comes for the White House defense to present it's case?
I could see that easily happening with the excuse that the viewers have lost interest.
I'd appreciate your thoughts.
What impeachement trial?
It’s on TV??
Friends don’t let Friends Watch TV.
They have already done it. I was listening the first day for a short while. The Dems were presenting. When Jim Jordan started speaking, after a few minutes they went to their talking heads for 'commentary'.
That's when I tuned out.
When the White House presents its defense, the entire corrupt media establishment will turn 180-degrees from its slobbering, incurious support of the Democrat Stalinist’s, and attack, denounce and undermine every factual element of the President’s objective defense. They’ll go wall-to-wall, 24x7 against the President and the citizens of the United States. Just wait and see.
I have not watched a bit of it.
I already know what it will be like.
Does a leopard change it’s spots? Will the media quit lying?
Faux News’ Chris Wall-ass reports that the ‘Rats “have made a powerful case against Donald Trump.” That’s the Media narrative everywhere.
Stand by for the GOP to fold like the cowards they are.
I watched the Dems for less than 5 minutes...and that's over two days.
What amuses me is that they chose 8 hours....hours when working Americans are doing just that....working....and then coming home to eat and relax...and they are expected to listen to the rinse and repeat of what happened in the house.
The Republican counter should be much more interesting.
How is that different from what they are doing now?
“The Republican counter should be much more interesting.”
Yes, I believe that but that’s why I don’t think the networks will cover this part. They only want the public to hear one side.
I can’t stand to watch the democrats so I have not watched it. I will watch it when President Trumps team comes on.
I flip back and forth between recordings and the “trial”. Every time... and I mean every time... I flip to the “trial”, the dims are saying the same thing as they were saying yesterday. What a waste of air.
CNN started that a while back. Republican points are covered up by their panelistas.
PBS is the only place I can find it. No cable.
