Spain's 'Drunken Gummy Bears' on Edge as Haribo Bares its Teeth

Ander Mendez and his friends were hoping they'd struck it rich when they came up with the idea of selling alcohol-infused gummy bears -- until they found themselves in the sights of sweet giant Haribo. Now, these three Spaniards say they're afraid of being shut down by the German confectionery king, which is famed for its vast array of jelly sweets and was founded 100 years ago in the western city of Bonn.

In a not-so-sweetly worded legal letter, Haribo has accused their startup of infringing its trademarked little bear. But these graduates from the northern Spanish port city of Bilbao insist they will carry on producing their "drunken gummy bears" -- "because people like them."

If you have get constipated don’t bother with usual methods.

Just buy the sugar free version of these..and there you go.

Wish I had remembered it when I went through the constipated /diverticulitus bout that was the worse pain of my life.

Just be sure that if you have dogs they never get hold of them. Xylitol is deadly for them.

dont know..but if you search the internet you will see what i mean...

during my incident I was trying everything and it wasn’t working...so now I make sure I know who carries these. Not everyone has the sugar free kind

yeah I freaked out when my dog got a piece of sugar free gum from the trash already chewed. I think even that can cause problems.

Thankfully some of the reviews remain for the sugar free ones on Amazon in the Haribo Gummi Candy, Goldbears Gummi Candy, 5 Pound Bag.

I really hate drunken gummy bears.

They’re either crying or fighting or passed out in the middle of the road just wearing their underwear.
