My ex SIL is a helicopter mechanic, used to take the kids on rides all the time, even other kids for birthday parties. Living in LA, probably safer than driving on the highway.

When I heard about Kobe dying, knowing we would hear talk for days about him, I gave thought to the heroic Americans killed in the helicopter crash the other day in Australia.
They did not get the coverage that Kobe already has but to me they were the real heros of the week, not as rich and not as famous.
May they rest in peace.

I’m good Rusty, I’ll be going to a cataract surgeon on Friday to see what my options are. I’m fighting Tufts Medical Center, trying to get a letter from them about what surgery changes need to be made for my neuropathy. The doctor is fantastic, but after that everything goes downhill at that place.
How are you? How’s your tongue?
