This time a year ago, Prince Harry had the world at his feet. He was a handsome prince with a beautiful wife and a healthy male heir on the way, plenty of money, a free, five-bedroomed ‘cottage’ in a piece of England’s finest real estate, a dashing war record from two tours in Afghanistan, bags of honorary titles — including Captain General of the Royal Marines — all the cachet of being a senior player in the world’s grandest Royal Family but little of the responsibility (his big brother William is heir to the throne, so the pressure is off there), with plenty of spare time for frequent private jet jaunts round the world to hang out with celebrity chums like Sir Elton John.
Now, he’s a nobody. Or at best, an ex-Someone. Sure he gets to keep his aristocratic courtesy-title the Duke of Sussex, but he no longer retains the rank of royal prince or the honorific ‘His Royal Highness’; he has to pay back the £2.4 million that the UK taxpayer spent doing up his ‘cottage’; he has lost the role of Captain General — and all his other honorary military titles; he’ll no longer be paid to represent the Royal Family at official events; he’s now possibly even less famous than his wife, who wasn’t exactly A-list to begin with being only the ex-supporting-star from a fading TV show in its seventh series…
Where did it all go so wrong for the poor lad?
Simple. Ex-Prince Harry is perhaps the most tragic living example of Get Woke, Go Broke.

Under the malign influence of Hollywood princess Meghan, Harry got woke and now he’s broke. Why did he not see all this coming?
Still can’t help but wonder if Harry is really Charles’s son. I would assume the Queen knows one way or the other. In any case, I think one day he will come crawling back after Meagan squeezes all she can get out of him.

They will parlay this into big bucks. Obama and CLintons are their role models.
Netflix deals already in the works.
He won’t be happy.

Sums it up. Wallace Simpson took over the weak, Nazi-sympathizing Edward and she was apparently very disappointed that he abdicated. She really wanted to be Queen of England, not have some dork, even a wealthy one, “abandoning everything” for her. She wanted the “everything” and she wasn’t happy with him alone.
The Duke and Duchess of Windsor (Wallace Simpson)spent the rest of their lives as useless Nazi-symp drunks circulating through the homes of charitable acquaintances on the Continent.
However, this is the 21st century. How long before the odious Meghan leaves him, gets whatever he has and runs off to find yet a wealthier guy?

Before they were married Meagan’s brother told Harry to run. Run away as fast as you can.
Yeah, he’ll be missing his life, family and pals soon enough.
But broke? I read that between what Charles forks over to his sons and, especially, he inherited from Diana, he brought approximately 30 million pounds to the marriage.
I do not see anything in her. She must have hypnotized him.
Train wreck ahead for Harry. I hate to even say it, but it’s just a matter of time.
30 million pounds is nothing these days. The home Meghan wants is 27m from what I hear. 30m won’t last long in Meghan’s hands.
Just read there will be a Netflix (money transfer) about the duke and dutchess - surprise!
I just listened to Harry’s first speech at the HIV Charity he supports. In it he spoke about his leaving saying “I had no choice” ....
Well he acutally did as we know, he even refeerenced the fact neither of them could have their cake and eat it too....and that it was his decision to walk away because of this.
Given all sides of this story Harry doesn’t strike me as a man who can tolerate the British press....nor can his wife. Unless it’s favorable toward them both...I think they’re fooling themselves to think it’s going to stop by living in Canada....as we already see it’s continuing and the press certainly is driving home his wife is the cause.....but they both are beyond adulthood and this was their decision alone to walk away.
I don’t think either of the two are stable....both have ‘baggage’ of rebelling against being accountable to others in their families....both believe they’re entitled to what their families have been unwilling to yield to.
It just appears neither are good at adapting within their families and the roles within....nor the press reports that on one hand they covet and on the the other disdain. Again wanting it their way.
I hope thy find the “Peaceful Life” Harry spoke of, but you don’t get that when you’ve been a Royal for all your life...and still choose to ‘Serve’ in the public eye.
As for megan....well she doesn’t have a history of hanging with people for long so I suspect she’ll eventually tire of Harry as well.
I think the French call a “family fling” a sidestep, which they don’t take too seriously.

Her mother has several siblings. I think at least one is full and the rest are half
Meghan leaves everyone behind. Not even sure how long she has been associated with her mother. Her father raised her.
This is a classic example.
