IIRC NM like VA is “geographically red”. So the obvious response is the same. Sanctuary Counties.
Like VA, NM is under the total grip of totalitarian forces.
I read someplace that Missouri is going to try this too with several bills up for a vote.
I’d like to see all the RAT states make the same mistake. Why? So voters turn them out and then once Republican they vote for a Convention of States!

Those crazy Democrats--the House, the Senate and the Governorship are held by Republicans.
Most likely, this is nothing more than a "showing of the flag" for the gun controls groups that run Kansas City, St. Louis and Columbia.
I live in NM, The extreme leftist agenda in this state has had me more than a little upset. As to the crazy red flag law. Anyone you ever dated or were married to, No matter how long ago. Can file a red flag claim against you. This legislation is a grab bag of crazy. To take away your gun rights. My ex from 1995 might still be mad at me. Now you have to hire an attorney to fight for your rights. Now they can empty your wallet as well as take away your rights.
Disperse your guns, mags and ammo in more than one location. So when things really go south, you’ll have protection.
My local gun club made it a point to tell everyone at our yearly meeting.
Lets hope that the majority of our County Sheriffs will agree to not enforce this like they did the other anti-Constitutional laws churned out by Governor Lujan and her co-conspirators.
