The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).

Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.

PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.

2019 Cryptogram Solvers Hall of Fame

Over the next few days I will list the names of Today’s CG puzzle solvers admitted to THE HALL OF FAME

I’ve chosen these people, not by the color of their skin, ethnic background or even sexual persuasion. Their selection is based on the important things, the things that matter most.

For example, their consistency of effort, fun, creative, sometimes goofy and lively commentary, and their general enthusiasm. In addition their choice reflects their skill and temerity of purpose in the solving of these daily CGs and their support for this posting.

On February 26th, (The first day of Lent), I will name three Hall of Famers, and give a $25 donation to Free Republic in their behalf.

Magnum44 has been a CG solver since Day 1. He’s among the first to solve the puzzle every morning, and he almost daily posts a unique, sometimes corny always tangential clue to the CG, that often times is harder to decipher than the CG itself.

Took about 5-7 minutes to solve .... had to re-start a few times ....
