There appear to be two significant developments as it relates to Tom Brady's future, which were revealed on Tuesday's The Greg Hill Show by Greg Hill himself.
The Brady suite at Gillette Stadium where (Gisele Bundchen) has been known to watch her husband play football has been cleaned out," he said.
Hill added: It would appear to be, by those who are in the know, that it has been cleaned out in way that perhaps it has never has been cleaned out before.
In addition, Hill said Brady and his family have already moved out of their Brookline, Massachusetts home and moved into their recently purchased home in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Of course, Brady will be a free agent on March 18 for the first time in his NFL career.
Appearing on Westwood One Radio with Jim Gray over the weekend, Brady said he will not be rushing to make any determination on his future.
The contract things I think a week after the season, I would say these things havent even started to pick up," Brady said. "That is not my concern at this point. It has been about decompressing and lessen my mind a little bit and resting my body and spending time with the people who have supported me over the last six months.
He added: Like I said, I've loved playing football and I have loved playing for this organization, so I really dont know what it is going to look like moving forward and I am just taking things day-by-day. Were a week removed from the end of our season. Theres a lot of time to figure these things out. I dont think any player or team is ready to make any commitments at this point and I am sure as the offseason progresses those things will take care of themselves.
Brady can re-sign with the Patriots at any point, but cannot speak to other teams until the legal tampering window opens on March 16.
Good question. I watched him play with the Bills. Yes, deep ball was a limitation, but I always thought his problem was inconsistency. He would have a great game one week, and then the next, he would throw 3 interceptions with <50% completions. Good protection of course helps all QBs, but Fitz seems to really struggle when under pressure. But I really admire him. Hes an intelligent guy (supposedly had 2nd highest score ever on the NFL Wunderlic aptitude test), which I think is why he keeps latching on to new coaches and teams, and is a survivor in the league.
I think Belichick traded Jimmy because of a fundamental fairness issue. It would be wrong to keep him off the field, stuck behind Brady forever. So Belichick traded him to a weak team in a division we would see only every 4th year in the other conference. And look how that turned out for SF. :)
Definitely has coaching potential when he's done playing.
“I say it will be Miami.” Good guess, Income tax alone would make a big difference in net income. O line not good enough though.
Yeah inconsistency WAS big. I remember that with the Jets.
Maybe it was being under pressure when he slipped.
But you’re right. He’s a bright guy who’s made a bundle and had a good time.
Only a retard would go to the Bengals. Burrow should hold out for a trade, as Eli Manning did with the Chargers.
A team with a good offensive line isn’t going to need Brady.
“Rumors abound.
Jerry Jones?.....................”
I see it as a possibility.
Being an SEC homeboy, I watched Dak throughout his college career and with the Cowboys. He is a carbon copy of Donovan McNabb when the chips are down. He either puts the ball in the dirt in front of the receiver or badly overthrows. Maybe Jerry and his minions have seen the same thing.
Burrow is from Ohio.
I have wondered for a couple of years if Josh is staying in N.E. based on some kind of succession plan for Belichick.
Yep, Cowboys are caught between a rock and a hard place.
If Dak leaves, what do they have? And yet, is it worth leveraging your franchise’s future to keep him, considering that they already idiotically sunk a lot of money into Ezekiel Elliott?
It’s definitely going to be an interesting off-season.
More interesting than the season, itself.
“Yep.
I forget who he played for but some backup QB some years ago played a game towards the end of the season and throw like 500 yards and got a MONSTER contract, I think with another team the year after
And then he sucked :)”
You are correct:
Matt Cassel/New England. He proved my other opinion that Tom Brady is a system quarterback. Cassel thrived in NE but sucked on other teams just as Brady would do.
And besides, teams can turn around quickly, just look at the Niners.
Wow.
I can’t believe someone knew who I was talking about.
Would be interesting to see Brady play for another team and see what happens.
Well, you have to admit, he had a pretty good college coach. ;)
Eli’s Coming! LOL!
The way Brady knows offense, he’d possibly make a good defensive back coach.
