NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. A woman in Florida took an unexpected detour into a pool Saturday, according to highway patrol, WTSP reports.
She lost control of the car and then crashed into a community pool in New Port Richey, Florida.
The woman was able to climb out of the cars back window.
No injuries were reported.
Public was lucky. Usually when a Floridian loses control they take out a fire hydrant, lamp posts, parked cars, a couple of pedestrians and a Starbucks.
To be fair- the sign said “Car Pool Lane”
Pools being amusing, but too common. Bedrooms, alligator farms, diners, flower shops, one went from end to end thru an auto shop, bouncing over or off half a dozen lifts...
Just had to pick the coldest day of the year to do it too. Hope the pool was heated...
No mention of age.
Circa 1964 a young guy ‘testing’ his Norton with a few pals in “The Ravines”, Winnetka Il.
Missed a turn, through a hedgerow and into a pool.
In the middle of a BBQ party.
All the old men at the party attempted to remove the bike from the pool, the best they could do was drag it to the shallow end.
Sadly the bike had to remain overnight in the water!
So I have been told.
