Westgate sportsbook vice president of risk Ed Salmons, for instance, believes the odds Brady will play with the Patriots next season currently sit around minus-500, or he’ll retire.
“He’s not going to the Chargers. That whole talk is nonsense,” Salmons said, via the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Todd Dewey. “If he’s going to play, it’s going to be with the Patriots.”
And Salmons isn’t the only one that feels that way, either.
“There’s no chance (Brady plays for another team). I’d make him a big favorite to come back to the Patriots,” said Sunset Station sportsbook director Chuck Esposito. “I know other players like (Joe) Montana, (Peyton) Manning and (Brett) Favre all finished with other teams. But the relationship between (Patriots owner Bob) Kraft and Brady is different.”
In fact, Esposito seems to believe Brady’s got more than just a year left in the tank.
“I think they’ll give him a two- or three-year deal,” he said. “Their defense is still really good. They just need to improve their skill position players.”

That depends what he has to work with.
How long in the tooth are they? Draft prospects? Offensive line prospects? It won’t be the first time that a “seasoned QB” is surrounded by a good crew which extends his career.
Lets see what happens in the off season trades and draft.

The sports talk radio guys here in Jax where in a panic today over the thought of Brady playing for the Colts because that would put him in the same division as the Jags/Houston/Tennessee. Something like that could happen with the Pats offense having serious issues.

That would be Jim Brown my friend, who was voted by the NFL100 as THE greatest football player of all time.
But the Patriots are the greatest football dynasty of all time. 9 SBs in 18 years is phenomenal.
The 2 Seahawks/49ers games this year and the Seahawks/Eagles game yesterday kept me on the edge of my seat. I don’t think I could name something better on tv that I saw. But I’m a fan.

He is not from LA, he is from San Francisco and was a 49ers fan. He and his wife Giselle bought a house in Greenwich CT, but the Brookline house is not sold.
I think if the Chargers move on from QB Philip Rivers and they make a nice offer to Brady then he makes the move to LA.

I thought it was sold. I knew he was from CA but wasn’t sure where. I just figured he’d want to go back.
I was never a big Brady fan but now I am. I say he re-signs with the Pats. He’s like Kraft’s football son.
I think it is clear that Brady lacks the zip on the fastball he used to have (and even then it was never elite). Defensive backs are cheating up on receivers and stepping in front of his throws. This was the same thing that ultimately led Peyton Manning to retire after Super Bowl 50, the knowledge that he was becoming too easy to intercept.
Brady wants to play until he’s 45 and surely somebody will pay Brady to QB their team if the Patriots let him walk but, just like Brett Favre, he’ll wind up embarrassing himself as his play deteriorates.
He ought to retire and walk away with the many records he has already set. Watching athletes try to perform when their physical skills have clearly eroded is one of the sad things about sports. If Brady continues, he’ll repeat what it was like to see Johnny Unitas as a Charger or Joe Namath as a Ram - a shell of his former self.

He’ll be 43 next season. I don’t think the Patriots will sign him again.
