Davenport Perihelion, or Earth's closest approach to sun in it's orbit, occurs tonight. Perihelion is the annual closest approach to the sun. The sun will be roughly 91.4 million miles away...

Lol. KWQC is in Davenport, IA. I lived over 62 years about 30 miles south southwest of there on the IL side. Wife is from Moline (just across from Davenport and Bettendorf.
The city was named for a Colonel Davenport that lived on Arsenal Island out in the Miss. river. Poor guy was murdered in 1845 by robbers.
