What is this anti-American protest in Baghdad about? This picture tells it all. Protesters, presumably from Kata’ib Hizballah, scrawl, "Qassem Soleimani is our leader" on the US embassy wall. Soleimani is the leader of Iran’s Qods Force. He built the Iraqi militias.

Odds are overwhelming that Iran organized this “protest” in Baghdad. Here’s a suggestive tweet from 4 days ago. It says Qassem Soleimani got friend Tahseen al-Abboudi appointed as head of security in the Green Zone — in order to squeeze foreign embassies.

All of Qassem Soleimani's best friends joined the party at the US embassy in Baghdad. The handsome turbaned gentleman is, I believe, Qais al-Khazali, the leader of Asa'ib Ahl al-Haq, a pro-Iranian militia.
