I found FR on the sidebar of Drudge. Right around the impeachment time, or shortly thereafter. Disliked Clinton before he was elected. Practically begged one of my employees not to vote for him. Her reason - she thought Gore was cute. Unreal.

I lurked for a couple years and I have to say that Free Republic kept me sane during the 2000 elections. I was glued to my computer - office and home - refreshing to read every word on who was our next President. Ah, the days of the hanging chad! Finally figured I should join shortly after. Still refreshing!!

I was very glad when late last night Wes asked if he should start a new thread. I was thrilled. He sent me the list of people and I thought...I can help ping...but no way am I taking up doing the thread. I'll be blunt..I follow over 90 people and post information because I actually enjoy finding pieces of a puzzle and sharing them.

But as you understand what we do really takes patience and I feel another rider needs to step up their brain cells. And quite honestly I have pushed myself to learn new things in order to keep my old brain sharp. Hopefully someone will see the advantages. Its for certain our sweet Woodstock pushed herself to the limits many times getting our Train thread up. Bless her beautiful heart. God bless you Woodstock.
