So that helicopter crash from last year that was supposed to kill all aboard from that hospitality company. Something went wrong and there was one survivor. What to do? Make sure they don’t get the best care possible. Look up the address of the place the patient was sent. No one in the history of the place ever was critical. There are multiple amazing places they could have gone that were much much closer. The patient was taken to an out of the way place that no one in the area really even knows. They needed that patient to die.

You poor dear. I can only imagine how hard this is for you and hubby. My friend, a registered nurse and wound specialist, had to finally put her MIL in a home. She told me hospice will come in And just make sure she is bathed and otherwise taken care of. She explained to her hubby and his brothers that it’s not that someone doesn’t have long that is the criteria, but that they are not expected to get better to take care of themselves.
Why would they discontinue heart and BP meds?
ROFL well the kids are all older, in my granddaughters car. We all had a good laugh.
My mom lost her last years to dementia too. My poor dad suffered more seeing her like that.

Hubby thinks he heard one of the family members say that HE (patient) requested that.

Maybe. Dad discontinued his prostate medicine and mainly was on his vitamins and thyroid when he died in his sleep. 94+. Mom was five years older than dad and died at 80 of a form of dementia. We found out shortly after her death it could have been treated. She required round the clock care but dad spent late afternoon & evening with her. Eating their evening meal, watching some TV in their private area of the care center.
She lost her ability to speak but could sing until just a few months before she died. Last message to me “and he tells me I am his own”. Always played IN THE GARDEN first and last when visiting her. Her favorite. Was with her two weeks before she passed and she still communicated with her eyes. Was always sweet and appreciative. Smack her lips and smile when we fed her.
Spunky I just bought an insurance that will pay for home care rather than nursing home Not very expensive part of health care plan.
