...but...
an accident, to *another* executive?
Cheese Pizza, anyone?
(Note; Dominos was sold to Mitt Romney's Bain Capital in 1998)
I tried posting from ZeroHedge 5 min ago, where I first saw it and it was auto-rejected; I think Fox Business is OK though.
CFO of Dominos drowns.
Dominos was sold to Bain Capital in 1998; and of course "Cheese Pizza" (womp womp)
There aren’t any Dominos in my area any more; they all closed at least ten years ago. Same with Godfathers.
Was it 30 minutes or less?.......................
Looks like article was removed from FoxBiz.
“Mauritius”
Have friends from there.
Not really the place general US folks woud want to go on vacation.
A bit too dangerous for my tastes.
And they are so very grateful to be here.
Just don’t rent the snorkels.
Dominos? The box tasted better.
This is Domino’s Pizza Group a franchise operator of Domino’s pizza in the UK. He was likely a Brit and much more likely to be snorkeling in Africa than a US exec.
Bauernfeind and his family had been staying in the islands upscale Belle-Mare section of since Dec. 19. He was snorkeling about 150 feet from the shore when he drowned, according to The Sun.
The skipper of a yacht discovered the body floating in a lagoon off Belle-Mare on Thursday morning,

Isn’t Mauritius known for having the largest off shore shark population of all swimming spots worldwide? Signs posted on beach not to swim in the shark infested waters?
Shallow water black out probably.
I would have guessed heart attack, but the autopsy said he drowned.
He may not have actually drowned. About a year ago a good friend was snorkeling at a resort in Mexico. He had a heart attack and died instantly. A companion noticed him not moving, and upon checking, found him dead. Not a bad way to go. Mexico requires a post mortem, after which he was cremated. His family and friends always said he’d be late for his own funeral. So at his memorial service his son brought in the cherry wood chest bearing his ashes, ten minutes into the service. The BEST part is, he loved the Lord and one second he was in Mexico, and the next he was in Heaven.
Thanks.

Bauernfeind joined Dominos in October 2018, according to his LinkedIn profile.
******
Only there just over a year.
It was his wife’s snorkel and she somehow sucked the ball into the hose.
My cousin died while swimming with humpback whales off the coast of the Dominican Republic. Heart attack. Dead before they could pull him into the boat. Dan was a world traveler who wanted to go and do everything which explains why a man in his 70s decides to swim with whales but my reaction and many others to the news was “that was a Dan way to die”.
