Folks, we mistakenly trust our doctors to “know everything.” They can’t possibly meet this expectation. However, YOU can do research on things that matter to YOU and YOUR LOVED ONES. Review legitimate studies and present the information you find to the doctors treating the condition. They may or may not have heard of the study and they may or may not want to try what is suggested. You can choose a different doctor if you believe your information is not taken credibly.

This therapy is an inexpensive option to simply address sepsis/septic shock. The studies continue to run, but the success rates are high. The whole writeup is at the link above.

I wish my grandmother had not died of septic shock in the hospital, but maybe now your loved ones will have it better.

Share this information with others who may be dealing with dire problems which could lead to septic shock.

You may safe a life a doctor couldn’t.

So much of what we know just isn’t true.

Medicine.
Economics.
Politics.

The list could go on. The experts tell us a lot of stuff — and sometimes they’re right. But less often than one might think.

Significant saline fluid boluses have had a huge effect on mortality in sepsis.

preventing sepsis also needs attention. Some Doctors and hospitals order too many surgeries, biopsys, cesarians and other invasive procedures because the insurance and medicaid or medicare will pay for it and not because the patient needs it.

Those unnecessary procedures are done more casually and with less atention to preventing sepsis than the needed procedures. This is true of not just sepsis, but of other mistakes and errors.

Follow the money.

I had a relative die of it. By the time they figured out what it was instead of the flu it would have been too late. Swift death from Doc saying flu.

4.8 out of 5 stars 127 ratings

The price of this paperback is headed upwards now. Dr. Levy MD, JD suggests useing Vit C orally and intravenously to cure many things. I recommend this book.

I'm printing this out. In the last few years my husband has had sepsis 5 times. After the first time, I recognize the symptoms and get him to the emergency room fast. Then it's almost a week in the hospital and another 10 days of IV antibiotics at home. He's become drug resistant and down to only a few that will work.

Thanks for the article.

I’ve read about this protocol on Dr. Mercola’s website.
I wish intensivists/ critical care specialists would embrace it, but in the time one could spend advocating it, you’d be dead.

Check this out for flu (& it’s in what I would call a ‘reputable’ source):

Vitamin D for influenza
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4463890/

Whole thing is interesting, but the last paragraph has clinical observations from an actual practice (which is something I like to see) & references the “Vitamin D hammer”. If I come down with the flu, definitely going to try this & I’m being diligent about keeping my Vit D levels in good shape.

there are a lot of things that initially look promising that turn out not to be so or even are harmful. Steroids (hydrocortisone) have been debated in sepsis for the 35 years i have been practicing medicine and fallen in and out of favor. Several years ago it was activated protein C (xigris) with the apache trial that was going to save everyone with sepsis. it actually turned out it was harmful. By all means read studies and become informed but also realize it takes years of experience and seeing things come and go to put some of these things in the proper perspective.

“You may safe a life a doctor couldn’t.”

In the same vein, we should think long and hard about whether we want to support the idea of getting prescription medicine from Canada to save a few dollars. I know that most people will do it but, think about the longer term cost issues.

Had this been accepted practice back in the ‘40’s, we likely would not have a polio vaccine or many of the other vaccines we take for granted. Research and Development is highly costly especially when one considers that the vast majority of medical research projects are unsuccessful but still must be funded.

If we buy most of our medicine from outside the U.S., we will remove the monetary incentive for researchers to spend their time and resources ($) to develop new cures for things like AIDS, cancer, heart problems, circulation disorders, etc.

What’s more important? Saving a few bucks or developing a cure for the fatal disease you’ll contract ten years from now?

One may find information regarding sepsis help on the Earthclinic.com website.

As an anti-inflammatory, one may consider to use CoQ10 rather than prednisone steroid.
