Its being reported that just a day after LGBTQIA+ fanatics made the hashtag #BoycottHallmark trend on Twitter, the Crown Media team that opertaes the Hallmark brands decided to issue a letter on December 15th, 2019 apologizing to the LGBTQIA+ community and vowing to reinstate the Zola ad featuring a lesbian couple kissing during their wedding.
Axios picked up the news after Hallmark sent out the letter, the relevant part of which reads
"Hallmark is, and always have been, committed to diversity and inclusion both in our workplace as well as the products and experiences we create. It is never Hallmarks intention to be divisive or generate controversy. We are an inclusive company and have a track record to prove it. We have LGBTQ greeting cards and feature LGBTQ couples in commercials. We have been recognized as one of Americas Best Employers for Diversity. We have been a progressive pioneer on television for decades telling wide ranging stories that elevate the human spirit such as August Wilsons The Piano Lesson and Colm Toibins The Blackwater Lightship, both which highlight the importance of tolerance and understanding.
Hallmark will be working with GLAAD to better represent the LGBTQ community across our portfolio of brands. The Hallmark Channel will be reaching out to Zola to reestablish our partnership and reinstate the commercials.
So basically, score another big win for the Rainbow Reich.
Any and everything they want, they get. Any and everything they say, others do.
This has become the standard trend for todays society, where a vocal minority literally dictates the entire course of Western culture, whether it be in literature, comic books, television, movies, or video games. They always get what they want.
If they want something banned, they get it. If they want something unbanned they typically get that, too.
Im curious how Hallmarks regular viewers will take to this change in the companys ideological disposition? The channels core demographic skew straight females between 18 and 54, according to Broadcasting Cable and the Nielsen Media ratings. Will they continue to just scarf down any kind of views they dont agree with until they become complacent with the message being peddled by the propagandists? Or will they stop watching Hallmark?
Well I guess well find out when the numbers for the holiday quarter drops.
We all need to send Hallmark a sympathy card from American Greetings.
“I’ll take a side of vomit with my holiday specials for $200, Alex.”
How many of those tweets calling on banning Hallmark came from real live humans who actually have accounts vs. fake accounts from bots? This happened far too quickly for anything but bots.
The only reason they win is because lots of people go along with them and think their misguided ideas are good. Period.
1.6 to 3 percent of the population can’t sway public opinion and corporate policy, but millions of their allies can. Plus LGBTQWERTY and their allies are undoubtedly smart enough to get onto corporate boards, into HR offices, etc.
They could if the millions of allies continue watching, but it probably would be a smaller audience, and possibly a shoestring budget as well. Just like CNN, living on the cable fees.
In tomorrow’s news: The LOGO Channel mounts protest against Hallmark eating into their viewer share. :-D
Of course, we Normals could simply skip out on teh ghey movies and just watch the actual normal ones. The resulting Neilsens — do they have those anymore? — will tell the tale.
Not necessarily. Remember when Trump announced the first travel ban from certain countries? Actual human protesters almost immediately descended upon certain airports by the hundreds, if not thousands. The Left, as odious as they are, actually have their sh*t together.

You know the gays are now going to DEMAND Hallmark include LGBTPQRSTUVWXYS in all or most of their programming from now on.
And Hallmark will cave.
Who wins when conservative Christian companies that have obviously been set up by gays when we knee jerk ban them? We certainly don’t. The sickos win.
Hallmark has been steadfast all these years and you dump them for this one thing.
Not sure that you are up to speed on this issue...It is not “one thing.”
Hallmark is not a Christian company in pursuing this type of programming. It’s founding was through Christian networks. However, that was years ago, and there is no direct Christian programming today though a few vestiges such as “Godwink” remain...There have been many re-organizations, re-brandings, new CEOs etc.
It is not one thing...Hallmark stated that they are going to work with GLAAD to be more sensitive to LGBT with their programming. Another thing, their Chief of Programming has said he is open to accepting scripts featuring LGBT themes.
And another thing, lesbian commercials, is just as bad if not worse than scheduled programming...because cannot prevent young eyes from seeing women kissing.
How do you feel about Chick-Fil-A? Very similar situation...are you still supporting them? A change in CEO has changed the direction of their company...
I don’t want them to become another Lifetime network—which may or may not occasionally present a family Christmas movie...
If we do nothing, the change occurs. If we make a stand, perhaps they will understand how unwise it is to abandon its loyal viewing base...25-54 year old conservative women.
