(December 15, 2019 / JNS) The past week clarified a lot of things about the state of the American Jewish community—and its antagonists.
The two assailants who walked into the kosher supermarket in Jersey City on Tuesday and opened fire intentionally targeted Jews. The killers belonged to the black supremacist, virulently anti-Semitic “Black Hebrew Israelite” movement which claims its members are the true children of Israel and the Jews are satanic imposters.
The shooting in Jersey City marked a predictable escalation of the anti-Semitic attacks being carried out against Orthodox Jews in the New York area. The focal points of the attacks to date have been the ultra-Orthodox communities in Brooklyn. Over the past two years, the frequency of assaults has increased sharply. Most have been perpetrated by black antiSemites. None have been carried out by white supremacist anti-Semites.
This is an important distinction because progressive politicians like New York Mayor Bill De Blasio and Sen. Bernie Sanders routinely present the anti-Semitic violence in Brooklyn as the product of white supremacists.
And while it is true that to date, white supremacist anti-Semitism has been the most lethal form of anti-Semitism in America, from a political and social perspective it poses a smaller danger to Jewish life in America than the three other forms of active anti-Semitism in America today: Progressive/socialist anti-Semitism, Islamist anti-Semitism and black antiSemitism.

Black Hebrew Israelites. They first reared their ugly heads in 1974 when a cult member Marcus Wayne Chenault murdered MLK’s mother in 1974. He planned on assassinating Jesse Jackson but changed his mind at the last minute, apparently Mrs. King was an easier target. This cult is FUBAR, to say the least.

There’s definitely truth in this, and it’s heartbreaking since most Christians in the US feel an intrinsic connection to Judaism, and support Israel. The fact is that the vast majority of Western forces who fought Nazi Germany, defeated Hitler, and liberated the death camps were Christians, including many, many who died.
OK, the softer one is: “Perfect house for my Jewish girl. 10,000 square feet - no kitchen, no bedroom.”
That’s great but you can’t deny that for only 1.5 percent of the population they are overwhelmingly at the forefront of the take out Trump movement in politics media Hollywood academia and corporate level

Please permit me to point out a few things:
1. The form of Christianity that persecuted Jews in the middle ages, was an utterly totalitarian and tyrannical church-state form of it, an utterly false form of it.
2. Most non-Catholic Christian know an equivalence of Christianity with Roman Catholicism, is false. As false as making a equivalence of Karaite Judaism, lets say, with Talmudic-Kabbalist Judaism.
3. There is no warrant for Jews having an innate fear of Christianity. This is not the middle ages, we do not have feudalist systems of government anymore in Europe. Roman Catholics aren’t going to be persecuting Jews.
4. As far as the rest of Christians are concerned, they are first and foremostly Bible believers, and as the New Testament teaches nowhere that Christians are to persecute Jews - or anybody else for that matter, they aren’t going to be persecuting Jews either.
5. The vast majority of Biblical Christians love Israel, the more conservative of which, as we have here on FR, see Israel as America’s strongest ally in the middle east.
6. Perhaps if leftist Jews could understand this, their identification of middle ages Roman Catholicism, who once persecuted them, with “Christianity” per se, as primary reason for being leftist progressives, would melt away.
7. There is no reason for an “innate fear of Christianity.”
I know they have it wrong. They cannot see that American Christianity is probably the greatest buffer in the world to any harm to Jews. They would most all be welcome in America.
They don’t realize they are engineering their next round of oppression by being oppressors of Christianity.
What it has to do with Israel? They are Communists,that’s the problem.
The pretty Jexodus model is not a knuckledragger -- she is a fact and I hope she accomplishes something. Are you complaining that because I said the woman was pretty that I am saying Jewish women are ugly in some secret squirrel manner? Sheesh! What other dog whistles/secret squirrel messages do you hear (read)? That most of my co religionists vote lockstep with a party that is now conquered by the Communists and Muslim Brotherhood will bring about more antisemitism. People will ask why the members of my tribe vote against the most pro Israel President ever and vote for a bunch of Commies and PLO wannabes.
p.s. And don't lay a guilt trip on me as regards my fellow Jews. I was in the Jewish Defense League to fight antisemitism and try to prevent another holocaust. in effect it was was a TWO FRONT WAR, religious Jews against Greeks AND religious Jews against HELLENIZED/secularized Jews.
