Trump greeted with cheers at 120th Army-Navy game
The Hill ^ | 12/14/19 | MARTY JOHNSON

President Trump was greeted with loud applause when he was introduced before the 120th Army-Navy football game in Philadelphia on Saturday.

Trump took the field with Defense Secretary Mark Esper for the singing of the national anthem and then participated in the coin toss, sporting a red "Keep America Great" hat.

Before the game, the president visited both locker rooms, where he shook hands with players and announced an executive order that would allow athletes at the military academies to go directly to NFL after they graduate and delay their service. Right now, players must first complete their service before they can pursue a professional playing career.

The DoD Directive to allow military personnel to be armed for defense of themselves and others, was subtly designed to insure they were kept unarmed. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

This is a well honed Obama technique used in many different ways to subvert America, including the federal institutions of the FBI, CIA, IRS, and DOJ clear over to military ROE . It is a technique gleaned from Saul Alinsky’s “Rules For Radicals.”

3. “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.

And it works because we as a People are too naive to believe that any American would be so dirty and hateful, let alone a President, as the magic negro of dirty name unfortunately was.And he still has his sordid advocates within our military’s command structure , the resistance, that must be purged in President Trumps second term if not earlier. Look at the Fort Hood Massacre that never should have had its repeat in Pensacola.

The President must fulfill his promise. And he must do it expeditiously.NOW.

All the players should be thanking him for giving them a chance to immediately play in the NFL. Navy QB is going to get drafted...probably by Patriots

I disagree with the EO allowing them to play before completing their service.

That's one of the understandings if you go to one of the Academies. You know what you're signing up for.

I watched - it was great to see our President there.

BTW - did anybody catch the Air Force/Julliard game? What was the score?

“President Trump was greeted with loud applause...”
I would hope so. After all he IS their Commander and Chief.

I was wondering what the use of having a 42 year old ex-NFL QB or or 45 year old ex-NFL punter would be.

Why would the Patriots want a QB who is most effective with his legs? Running QBs tend not to last long in the NFL.

Did anyone kneeled before the game? No, not while praying, but during the national anthem...

IF I could give President Trump advice directly, as a former Provost Marshal, I would tell him that the DoD has MANY perfectly serviceable Colt & S&W .38SPL revolvers in unit arms rooms & in depot storage, as well as the current standard issue M9 & M11 handguns.
(Thus, the armed defense personnel would cost the taxpayers little or nothing & the personal defense status of all would be enhanced.)

Commissioned & Warrant Officers, Senior NCOs in grades E7-E9 & other selected/trained/background investigated/range-qualified military, GS & WG personnel should be armed with concealed handguns for “stand-by” post defense.
(I know that this would work, as when I was a PM years ago at a large in size but with a small number of “permanent party” personnel, we armed all of the commissioned, warrant & the SNCO, as well as the military staff-members of RANGE CONTROL. - After training by Range Control, the “selected personnel” were “sworn in” & appointed as Post Deputy Game Wardens, i.e., reserve LE personnel.)

After the new Deputy Game Wardens existence was announced in the Post Daily Bulletin, the crime general crime-rate on post decreased by 28% overall & poaching decreased by almost HALF, at essentially NO cost to the budget & thereafter remained at that level.
(The identity of the new PDGM was NOT announced. - Potential criminals of all sorts are generally UNWILLING to commit crimes, if every military sedan, truck or “Army OD” pickup that they see MIGHT have a sworn PDGM aboard.)

Btw, if you listened to the game you heard the announcers say Belichick was probably hoping the QB did not do as well as he did because more teams would be after him.

One more thing...Lamar Jackson’s style is energizing the NFL. True, he may not last as long. He may blow out a knee. He is more susceptible to getting hurt. But his effect on the game can not be denied. Lamar Jackson translates to $$$ for the team.

Patriots are going for Perry..it will be up to him whether he goes.

Ever hear of Rogeg Staubach? He was one of the greatest NFL QB's of all time, and he served out his 4 years in the Navy after graduating from the Naval Academy. By the way, he was also one of the greatest college QB's of all time.

Roger must have been at least 27 when he joined NFL.

Of course, and though I despise the Cowboys, I respect Staubach and Landry.

Staubach performed his service FIRST, and was still young enough to have a first ballot HoF career. I was thinking about the new situation, where a Roger Staubach immediately goes into the NFL, plays until he's 42 (Brasy and Brees are making that the new normal among greats), and finally goes in as a junior officer at 42, which is past the prime for initial military service as well as the NFL. By that time, he may have forgotten much of his training, and some would be obsolete.

Excellent well designed and legally sound leveraging of force protection combined with populace protection. Trained professionals.... not obamaumao’s “federalized gestapo”.
