A Wisconsin judge ordered the state to take as many as 234,000 people off its registered-voter list Friday because they may have moved a decision that could impede residents of this swing state from voting in next years presidential election.
The case centers on a letter that the state Elections Commission sent in October to hundreds of thousands of voters, asking them to respond if they were still at that address or to update their registrations if they had moved.
Conservatives filed a lawsuit alleging that to avoid fraud, the commission should have thrown out the registrations of voters who did not respond to the mailing within 30 days, the Associated Press reported. The Elections Commission, composed of three Republicans and three Democrats, is challenging the suit by arguing that it has the legal power to manage the registered voter list and that removing people now would cause confusion if some of them had not actually moved.
President Trump won Wisconsin by fewer than 23,000 votes in 2016. Republicans and Democrats alike are closely watching this court case for its potential impact in 2020, while liberals worry that the voters who would be removed are more likely to be Democrats.

“a decision that could impede residents of this swing state from voting in next years presidential election.”

If they moved they just vote in their new precinct/county/state whatever. If they moved from place A to place B, they don’t get to vote for stuff/candidates on the A ballot, they vote on whatever/whomever is on their new ballot.
If it’s just a matter of a new residence within the same voting area, just change the address info.
Not rocket science, Dems.
***could impede***
Just one iteration of the dems big lies.
5% of what is needed nationally.
“...while liberals worry that the voters who would be removed are more likely to be Democrats.” Of course they’re Democrats. Just like most voters who have already died vote Democrat.
1. How does this impeded anyone from voting? All they had to do is send something back stating that they are who they are and live where they live, right?
2. Once again, the arm of Big Government is going to save the day because the people are too stupid, indifferent and lazy to handle this themselves?
234,000 names
Does not equal 234,000 people.
People not smart enough to update their address shouldn’t be choosing our leaders.
Good ruling
Yeah and those pictured are just the living democrats. There's also the dead one's in the ground.
Flush them! Everyone has almost a year to simply re-register...If they are actually “live” citizens...
Lol because these voters no longer exist in the state, Democrats assume most of them are Democrats.
That would raise hell in NYC where so many have retired to Florida and vote absentee.
Love this stuff and it is why I love FR.
Specifically, I am referring to Article 6, Section 2; which includes the Federal Supremacy clause and the doctrine of the Preemption (US-Constituion).
If they got a returned letter saying not at this address, then they should be removed.
If they just didn’t get a response, then I’m not so sure. Maybe they should flag it. I could easily ignore a notice like that for more than 30 days. I could easily lose a notice like that.
They could flag it for another follow up.
If they didn’t get a response and they haven’t voted in 6 years, then okay, purge them.
Think about the fact that Democrats have to be fought tooth and nail to battle election fraud. Judges have to order them and they still will try everything possible to defraud the election.
Does not equal 234,000 people.
Quite right. But they do represent 234,000 possible Democrat votes.
...liberals worry that the voters who would be removed are more likely to be Democrats...
The Partisan Media Shill at the ComPost calls bogus and duplicate registrations "voters".
Partisan Media Shills update.
