How does this not go horribly wrong?
That’s what I was thinking: cool concept. Now, you go first.
I’d love to see one all pimp mobile.
Green metallic paint.
Oversized gold wire rims...
Look, there are selling this like a family car that everyone can drive.
Problem. You need a very serious pilots license complete with all the tower communications protocol, flight planning, air restrictions, etc...
“Look honey it’s the White House” will be your last transmission.
Benson gyrocopter with an Italian body and an inflated price tag. No Thanks!
2-dimentional accidents don’t happen enough. That’s why we need 3-dimentional accidents so the people on the ground can be killed by cars falling out of the sky.
Makes perfect sense to me.
Now, when anti-gravity is finally perfected....
Just a few engineering problems to be solved.
Like when it slams through the roof of a high rise apartment building burning it to the ground.
If I gotta go thru al of that, I’ll just get my pilot’s license and restrict my travels to places with a helipad. I still want the green metallic paint and gold wire rims, though. Carpeted dash, tuck-and-roll interior.........
The rotor is 10.75m. Make that 36 feet. No margin of error there, so better add a few feet on each side for takeoffs and landings. Crosswind? Hmm, how about that.
Who wants to buy one now?
What was the cost? I didn’t bother watching the video if that is where they mentioned a price. 8>)
Good luck getting license to fly one. The insurance company, alone, will require lots of hours in it, instructor led hours, and a very high insurance rate.
400k for the cheap version
600k for the delux customized elite club gold label version.
It’s worth a look, if only for the dog WTF head tilt your left with.
$600K for the deluxe model $400K for the sport model.
To be determined by the fatality rate and liability insurance payouts.
But it doesn’t fly.
Is this what they call vaporware?
Cup holders.
I didn’t see any cup holders. $600,000 and no cup holders?
No deal.
Yes, but you can buy it!
Well even if I were inclined, I couldn’t afford it anyway. Which is what I figured. 8>)
