I was at the game.
Army’s defense effectively shut down Navy’s pitch-out options, and also denied Navy fullbacks much in the way of yardage. They also shut down Navy’s passing game (such as it is). So Malcolm Perry did what Malcolm Perry does: run the ball, evading tackles and changing directions at full speed like nobody I have ever seen.
Navy defense was outstanding as they have been almost all year (let’s forget Notre Dame and Memphis, shall we?)
A glorious game.

I am retired Navy - and watched with 3 other former Navy....and 1 Army guy - my younger son - in attendance. Son was disgusted with how Army kept missing things, and would not change things up. (Son is a recently graduated Army Aviator - Warrant Officer.)
OTOH - my Navy son (USNA Class of 2008) - was watching the game from home in Hawaii, where he is stationed.
Great game. Army’s ‘meager’ streak of 3 games is over....and Navy can look for another streak to match their last one.
