Here what can be done. All the liberal men in Boston who support equal pay, should take a paycut to be equal to their female counterparts. Everyone wins.
Apparently managers in Boston are REALLY stupid. They could cut their labor costs by 24% simply by firing all their men and replacing them with women.
I wonder why they don’t do that?

How many times does this stupidity need to be debunked. By law men and women have to be paid the same for the same job. If women are paid less it’s because of the work habits of women, not discrimination.

Damn, great to be a business owner in Beantown, then. If I ran a business, I could be offering 0.80 on the dollar, hire only women, and not only pay more than other businesses, but still have lower salary costs than any business employing men.

So whats the big deal? Men work 500% more than women. because there are 5x as many men in the workforce.

I was an employer for 40 years. If I could somehow pay a woman 25% less than a man I would have hired a herd of them.
Its a ridiculous statistic. I have seen these before. I saw one a few years ago that said male nurses make more than women nurses. They forget to mention that the male nurses on average worked many more hours than women.
I've seen some nasty divorces, but it's usually the man on the receiving end of the unpleasantness.
