The whole James Bond franchise needs to be retired. Read the books, Bond was a WWII vet!

Oh, come on, that's a common problem all long-running series' have. For that matter, the original guy to play Bond in movies (Connery) is in his 80's now.

Usually, when a character lives past his original age, the writers just sort of freeze him (or her) at a certain age and we pretend it works. That's why Spiderman stayed high-school and college age for decades. Hercule Poirot fled Belgium during WWI, but Agatha Christie kept writing the stories into the 1970's. When they adapted the Poiro stories for TV, they decided to set them all in the 1930's.

I am not going to see this Bond flick. I am beyond fatigue with Hollywierd propaganda about women being better than men at everything. The leftist push to disenfranchise men has got to be stopped.

If there is a later director’s cut where James Bond uses the car ejector seat on his bag of a woman I just might watch that.

This is disheartening to me. I’m 32, and grew up on Bond, a series I was introduced to by my dad. Nobody will ever top Connery for me, though Craig comes in a close second and Brosnan in third. Dalton and Lazenby might as well have not been cast, in my opinion.

Like Dalton and Lazenby, a female 007 will never be a Bond to me. This coming from a woman, too.

This will be the first Bond film I will miss. Barbara Brocolli has done something SPECTRE and all the other villans could never do: kill Bond.

My guess is if the buzz in this film is bad then it will certainly gross less than the other Craig movies.

Au contraire. Dalton and Lazenby were quite good, and both fitting successors to Connery. Danny Craig is just a blonde thug emotional iceberg with little resemblance to the character.

It’s sad to see another respectable movie franchise commit suicide in this way.
