GREEN BAY — Lambeau Field is in need of snow removal — and the Packers want your brute strength to help get the job done.

The team’s asking anyone who wants to pitch in to stop by the stadium on Wednesday morning, Dec. 4. The Packers are looking for as many as 600 brave people to assist with the snow-clearing process.

...

Shovelers need to be at least 18 years old and will receive $12 per hour, with payment to be made immediately upon completion of their work. The Packers will provide shovels to all who come to help.

A few years ago I was stuck in Baltimore after about 20” of snow. The only flight in or out of BWI for a couple of days was the charter for the Chicago Bears. Maybe 2014 ...

The governor allowed about 1000 convicts out of prison to shovel show out of the stadium.

Even the Ravens sports dudes admitted that if Baltimore didn't have a pretty good chance of winning the game, that the flight to bring in da’ Bears wouldn't have been allowed to land, for the game to be played.

A snow blower would do it much faster.

And in the communist state of New Jersey, kids walking the neighborhood looking for work(like me and my buddy’s used to), is a BIG FAT NO-NO.

No, American kids cannot shovel snow when there are 30-60 million illegals to do the same thing. Let the kids stay inside and play Fortnite, etc. /s

They are shoveling out the seats.

This is for Sunday’s game so I assume they don’t expect more white stuff.

$12 an hour is piss poor pay for snow shoveling in my neck of the woods.

I had not heard that kids can no longer shovel snow for cash. I guess the state wants their cut, even from kids.

I guess NJ would rather that older folks have heart attacks while shoveling show...

If they allow kids to work, they may not become good Democrats is probably the thinking.

Ha ha ha ha ha .....

The ordinance states that you can’t go door to door to solicit, except in a few circumstances, unless you pay the fee. Non-profits are exempt from the fee, but still have do to the paperwork.

I’m sure there’s more to it, but in this day and age, with the litigious society we have, there needs to be some way of keeping tabs, as crappy as that it.

My friends and I used to do pretty good back in the day, shoveling sidewalks and driveways. But, then again, if we each made $40 bucks at the end of the day we thought we the richest guy in town.

The going rate in WI for snow shoveling is in the mid-$20s/hr. Cheap labor.

“Think about the location... inside a stadium.”

Yep. You can’t just move it from point A to point B. You have to load it onto trucks etc. to remove it. I wonder where they’ll dump it?

Is that anywhere near Lambert field? Which of the 57 states is that in? Sounds shovel-ready!

They’d make more inside where it’s warm flipping burgers and free fries.

As if the players couldn’t donate 30 minutes pay from their multi-million dollar contracts and signed jerseys and footballs. Better yet, 15 minutes of management’s pay.

But this is Lambeau Field. Home of the Packers. For residents of Green Bay and surrounding communities this is a civic duty and a chance to help out their team.

I'd do it if I lived closer.
