Oreo's cookie conundrum has been solved!
The classic sandwich cookie company announced back in September that it was releasing a mystery flavor of its beloved snacks, and left fans to figure out what the new additions to the Oreo line tasted like. Plus, one lucky guesser would win $50,000!
Well, now the truth can be told: that sweet cinnamon taste was of ... churro flavor!

I was thinking it could have been coffee.
My daughter bought some. I thought it was cinnamon bun. They were good.
It’s been so long since I’ve had an Oreo, didn’t even know there was a surprise flavor. I love Oreos but this diet I’m on...oh well.
Next time I have a sugar “meltdown” (does happen occasionally), I’m buying a bag of Oreos and a quart of milk.
I’ll stick with Mallomars.
You could settle for one or two Oreos and a 6 oz. glass of milk. That wouldn't break the bank on anyone's diet. But, I DO understand the all-er-nuthin' mindset.

What is churro?
A Chimichanga made from a burro...................
lard + sugar

Yes, but they magically double in value after January 1st.
I’m just saying . . .
I always buy a few packs of oreos before every family get together. Our grandkids ignore the homemade cakes, pies and cookies and go straight for the oreos every time.
I normally get them the “double stuff” variety, but this year I threw in a package of “mega-stuffs” as well... So at thanksgiving our youngest grandson came into the dining room while we were eating pie with an oreo that had half an inch of filling in it. He had taken the tops off two “mega-stuff” oreos and put the two sides with the filling together to make a super mega-stuff oreo cookie.
I couldn’t have been more proud of the little genius as he wolfed down all that cookie frosting. He is a skinny little guy with a lot of energy. I figured that he could use all that vegetable oil and sugar to keep bouncing off the walls.
Are we talking about the red cream holiday version? Sorry, but I like REGULAR oreos... Not double stuffed, not peppermint, not yellow cookie, not carrot cake.
Why is anyone on FR still buying Oreos?
Thanks. So it really is not a flavor as such. But I love fried dough and would love those sticks in those pictures!!
My daughter knew it was churro. I didn’t like them.
We were making S mores over a small grill (oh, the art of a evenly roasted marshmallow) and ran out of Graham crackers, so we used Oreo cookies (marshmallow sandwiched). The kids liked them, almost as much as Ketchup on hot dogs. Thank God we are so unworthily graced.
If only we let job applicants submit their grandparents’ assessments ...
