Lets get right to the top story from this last week, the atroious play of the Chicago Bears offense, squadering an excellent outing by the defense and.....

"That wasn't the top story and you know it, in fact it was entirely expected, you even said it would happen!"

Alright fine, last Thursday's brawl then. Pittsburgh Stoolers Head Coach Omar Epps, what happened?

"We lost to the damn Browns cause our QB is one of Santa's reindeer. :'-( Oh you mean with the fight, well that ape Myles Garrett just ripped Blitzen's helmet off and wacked him with it for no reason."

"Nuh-uh, he tried to took my helmet first!"

"Cause you a made a late dirty hit on him!"

"Nuh-uh! He wuz tryin to Quaterback! I'm a supposed to jump on the Quarterback and bite him! Uh I mean hit him with my sack. Mr. Coach Klein told me so!"

"Yarrg, is this true, Klein?"

"Yes, but in my defense I was all hopped on sinus medication, which does not mix well with half a bottle of Drambuie."

"I don't care what Prancer did, it was entirely...ow, he just threw an athletic cup at me!"

"No I did not, do that!!"

"Excuse me cracka scum but just where do you get off portraying Miles Garrett as a gorilla! That's highly offensive!"

"I agree, gorillas are noble creatures who never wack poor little reindeer with helmets, to compare them to Miles Garrett is...owwwww he just threw what's left of his career at me, I think it broke the skin!"

"We all saw you this time, Garrett!"

"Oh yeah, well it's all HER fault for standing there being pretty."

"Aww, how sweet!"

"Yarg, that's enough! Garrett, I've decided on your punishment, you are to be banished to our new Chinese expanision team, The Peking Red Devils!"

"This is an outrage, as the spokeman for all butt hurt Black men I will not allow..."

"And joining you as the team's starting Quarterback will be Colon Crapernick."

"Oh my God, THANK YOU! Finally!!!!!"

My 2 cents to add, fwiw, as a Patriots fan, is that Tom Brady is not happy. His press conference this week lasted under 1.5 minutes. Never heard him like this. Every, very brief answer reeked of misery and unhappiness. My take is that he is very unhappy with the fact that he has little time left in the league and has been given no serious weapons to work with on offense. And he is taking a lot of hits. Unless something serious happens soon, I would look for him to leave after this season because he still often states how much he loves playing.

"As always, should you or any of your weekly picks be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This post will self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck, Viking."

🏈 Week 12 Picks 🏈

Indianapolis at Houston: Texans at home.

Oakland at N.Y. Jets: Raiders

N.Y. Giants at Chicago: Both teams suck bigly, but I'll go with the Giants on the road.

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati: Assuming Rudolph's sleigh bell has stopped ringing in his ears, take Pittsburgh. You could field a team of squirrels this season and beat the Bungles.

Seattle at Philadelphia: 'Hawks.

Tampa Bay at Atlanta: Falcons. (Hey, we got a theme going here.)

Miami at Cleveland: I can't believe I'm picking them, but take the Mistake By The Lake at home.

Denver at Buffalo: Two Snow Bowl teams. Take the Bills at home, they see a wild card on the horizon.

Detroit at Washington: Lions. And the schedule gets worse for Washington after this.

Carolina at New Orleans: Please. Nawlins.

Jacksonville at Tennessee: Titans at home.

Dallas at New England: The Pats? At home? Good luck, Dak. Patriots.

Green Bay at San Francisco: I think the Niners are more hat than cattle this year. Packers.

Baltimore at L.A. Rams: OTOH, the Ravens got a lot of cattle. Ravens on the road. (Hey, an avian trifecta this week.)

That Sunday NFL schedule game times seems to ignore the differences in time zones. Is that local time for kickoff ?

Houston got sliced and diced against Baltimore, but mama said there'd be days like this. I have to believe that the Colts aren't the Ravens.

Thursday pick - Texans.

Gadzooks, Week 12-- This season is going along like crap through a Shiff!

Indy at Allegra's Texicans. Like Impy's Bears, them Houston boys let me down too often but I'll give the another chance here and say they will win--

Now as to Da Bears, the should squeek by the Jints--

Stoolers over TCU North--

Brownies take the Phins--

Falcons on a roll and glide past the Bucking Ears--

The Ain'ts smack Carolina--

While I would love for the Iggles to get beat again, they pull it out over the Seahags--

The Loinchopps eat the Deadskins alive--

The Waiders ravage the Jets--

Allegra's Old Earlers over the Jag-Offs--

Of course, my Boys hand Tommy Boy his first loss against the Cowboys--

And Big's other bromance Arran Boy slips it to the 69ers--

Baltimore give LA Ewes the runs-- And passes, too--

On the college level, my #24 Aggies take on #4 Georgia and I am sad to say they will give the a good game, but those Bulldogs are just too, too much--

Now, since the Teasips have fallen clear out of the Top 25, Baylor will lower the boom even more--

My old law school (#25 SMU) travels to Navy and here's to my Middies given them a rude welcome--

And finally, Rachel Green, be warned, Big's Kadets are on a break!

Well, one game in the books and I am 1 - 0. A good start...

Sunday, November 24, 2019

Oakland at N.Y. Jets 1:00 PM CBS MetLife StadiumThe Raiders - Jon Gruden's Raiders - are on a roll, and I never thought I would say that this season. While the Jets have been playing better, they're not better enough. Raiders.

N.Y. Giants at Chicago 1:00 PM FOX Soldier Field The lowly G-Men are so lowly... but the Bears are the very definition of dysfunction. Giants in the upset. Giants.

Pittsburgh at Cincinnati 1:00 PM CBS Paul Brown Stadium After the brawl in Cleveland last week the Men of Steel are pretty beaten up. But fortunately they get to play the Bengals. Steelers.

Seattle at Philadelphia 1:00 PM FOX Lincoln Financial Field The season continues to slip away from the Eagles. And now the Seahawks come to town. Seahawks.

Tampa Bay at Atlanta 1:00 PM FOX Mercedes-Benz StadiumThe Jameis Winston Turnover Factory comes to Atlanta. And the Falcons miraculously have come back to life the last two weeks beating New Orleans and Carolina, both on the road. Up and down the roster the Falcons are the better team. Falcons.

Miami at Cleveland 1:00 PM FOX FirstEnergy Stadium My head hurts at picking the Browns, who even in victory find a way to make you sick. But the Phish are just so pathetic... Browns.

Detroit at Washington 1:00 PM FOX FedEx Field I read where tickets for this game are available as low as $4. I still wouldn't go! The mediocre will beat the truly lousy. Lions.

Denver at Buffalo 1:00 PM CBS New Era Field Seems like every week for Denver it is close but no cigar. They should have beaten Minnesota last week ... that's just the latest in their long run of near hits. But the Bills are a legitimate playoff team and they will not stumble. Bills.

Carolina at New Orleans 1:00 PM CBS Mercedes-Benz Superdome Between the Saints D and the Brees-led O, the Panthers don't have enough. Saints.

Jacksonville at Tennessee 4:05 PM CBS Nissan Stadium The Titans have very quietly reached 5 - 5 and have a shot at the playoffs. Jacksonville.... I can't figure them out. The Flaming Thumbtacks win! Titans.

Dallas at New England 4:25 PM FOX Gillette Stadium This game is getting a lot of hype as the match-up of the week (personally I'll take Green Bay - San Francisco )... The Patriots came off their bye and crept past Philly last week, their only offensive TD coming on a pass... by Julian Edelman! While usually reluctant to pick against the Pats, especially at home, I like the Cowboys in the upset here. Cowboys.

Green Bay at San Francisco 8:20 PM NBC Levi's Stadium The Niners showed they're human in losing to the Seahawks, and then rebounded against the Cardinals. The Packers.... their last trip to California (against the Chargers) was a disaster. This game will be close but the SF D will be the difference. Mr Rodgers, meet Mr Bosa! Niners.

Monday, November 25, 2019

Baltimore at L.A. Rams 8:15 pm ESPN Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum The red-hot Ravens have to travel all the way to LA to meet the Rams. If the Ravens find a way to neutralize Aaron Donald they will win the game. Maybe triple team him?! Or just have Lamar Jackson run circles around him... Ravens.

Good luck Everyone! And have a great weekend!
