Police in New York City are investigating a grisly double-murder suicide in which they say a man decapitated his wife, slit the throat of their five-year-old daughter and then took his own life by hanging Wednesday night, just hours after a scheduled divorce hearing.
According to the NYPD, at around 9.18pm officers responded to a 911 call requesting a welfare check inside an apartment at 151 West 121st Street in the Harlem section of Manhattan.
Upon entering the unit, officers found a 46-year-old man, his 42-year-old wife and their five-year-old daughter dead inside.
It is unclear at this time how long the family had been dead before their bodies were discovered.

I think you’re right. I just ran the surname Tedla through a census database and it’s only 6 percent white, but 80 percent black, and 12 percent mixed race. It’s not very common, only about 300 occurrences in the 2000 census.
Just a guess but given it’s NYC I would think Dominican or Puerto Rican heritage first of all. Don’t think it really matters, though. RIP to the lady and child.
And 50% chance one of them knew dirt on the Clintons. :)
For those who don’t choose to read original articles—pics at article. She was a beautiful whiten woman. Graduate of Boston University. Worked in refugee relocation and assistance for pregnancy and family planning for African refugees.
Husband’s name is odd, and there is no info as to where she picked him up. Usually there is something about where they first met each other. Info left out. Also left out are any pics of the daughter which would have given away the ethnicity of the husband.
A lot of very bright women go completely off the rails where the men in their lives are concerned. Blind spot as big as the ocean. There is a Facebook page under his name showing a black male but is inconclusive.
The article studiously avoids any physical description of the husband. Dollars to donuts it’s because he was a black muslim from Africa, possibly Somalian, since the wife was there a lot in her refugee assistance work over many years.
The black neighbors say he was a very “kind” man. Of course they would. They didn’t have anything nice to say about the white wife. Sorry for the daughter. She didn’t deserve what she got.
Black African. Probably Ethiopian. That’s why there are plenty of pictures of the white wife but none of the male or daughter. If the races were reversed, you’d see a hundred of him in one Daily Mail article.

Not by the Left, Progressive view. To be very very terrible, he should have used a gun. This is only very terrible. . . and will be gone from the news cycle by tomorrow.

Not trying to be funny here. There’s nothing funny about this.
Some women make some very dire choices when it comes to men. This one cost this woman her and her daughter’s life.
I suspect there were clear warning signs all along the way with this guy.
His anger at others was likely pronounced. Even with her he was probably less than caring. His family relations may have been sketchy. The things he participated in may have been also.
This isn’t written to rip anyone. Just be careful. Don’t ignore warming signs.

who was originally from Ethiopia, had recently threatened his wife if she went
to court to dissolve their marriage.

Which was apparently what he did.”
She was planning to get an order of protection on the day of the killings,
according to Kenneth Schlecht.

There are a lot of evil tempered people out there, both men and women.
Doubtful. They will kill others, including family, but not themselves.
She had a restraining order on him. Didn’t work too well.
They were in divorce proceedings.
The black woman crying must be the sister-in-law.
