LONDON — It was certainly not what the captured Nazi generals expected — or deserved. As historian Helen Fry describes in her new book, “The Walls Have Ears: The Greatest Intelligence Operation of World War II,” Trent Park, the stately country house in north London to which the prisoners were confined, rather resembled a gentleman’s club.
The most senior generals had their own rooms, with adjoining sitting rooms. There was a room for playing billiards, table-tennis and cards. And, after afternoon tea on Christmas Eve, a festive dinner was laid out for them.
There was even an appropriately deferential welcome for the Third Reich’s top military brass — on arrival, the illustrious POWs were met by Lord Aberfeldy, a distinguished Scottish aristocrat and second cousin of the King.
Aberfeldy told the generals he was their welfare officer and lavished attention upon them. He made fortnightly trips to the capital to buy them shaving cream, chocolate and cigarettes. He arranged for a Savile Row tailor to measure them up for new clothes. He even showed them pictures of his Scottish castle and let slip his own admiration for the Fuhrer.
Nor were the Germans strictly confined to this luxury prisoner of war camp. Senior British officers occasionally took them to dine at Simpsons on the Stand and the Ritz, and invited them to tea at their homes.
As one of the seemingly lucky captives, Lieutenant colonel Kurt Kohncke, suggested: “Our involuntary hosts are thoroughly gentlemanlike.”
But nothing was, in fact, as it seemed. “Lord Aberfeldy” was the creation of British intelligence; no such title existed, and the role was instead played to perfection by one of its officers, Ian Munro.

Since Soros was a young teenager when the war started, and he helped tell the Nazis in Hungary where the Jews were, and got some loot in return, and remembered that time as a very happy part of his life, it’s hard to imagine he went to Britain and assisted the allies. George Soros’ father was named Tivadar Schwartz, a successful attorney and an Orthodox Jew who, in 1936, changed the family surname from Schwartz to Soros in order to enable his family to conceal its Jewish identity and thus to survive the Nazi Holocaust. Soros sounded Hungarian, but was obscure. It means “soar” (in the future tense) in Esperanto, the made-up trans-European language promoted by those who dreamed of a world free of nationality. When the Nazis occupied Budapest in 1944, Soros’ father decided to split up his family, so as to minimize the chance that all its members would be killed together. He purchased forged papers for each of them and then bribed a government official to claim George as his Christian godson and to let the boy live with him.
“While hundreds of thousands of Hungarian Jews were being transported to death camps,” reports the Sweetness & Light website, “George Soros accompanied his phony godfather on his appointed rounds, confiscating property from the Jews.” (Many years later — in December 1998 — a CBS interviewer would ask Soros whether he had ever felt any guilt about those circumstances. Soros replied: “[T]here was no sense that I shouldn’t be there, because that was — well, actually, in a funny way, it’s just like in markets — that if I weren’t there — of course, I wasn’t doing it, but somebody else would — would — would be taking it away anyhow. And it was the — whether I was there or not, I was only a spectator, the property was being taken away. So the — I had no role in taking away that property. So I had no sense of guilt.” Soros has repeatedly said that 1944 was the best year of his life.

Not much to add. This just cements my already bad attitude toward GS.
Completely scrubbed from history is the famous party and talk circuit Jews who were bankers and industrial leaders in WWI who passed economic data to the allies thus allowing them to understand that WWI would end as Germany ran out of power and ammunition to sustain their war effort. Dupont sold gun power to both sides until the US entered WWI in 1917. Hitler was not alone in being pissed off about the German Jews running around bragging how they helped defeat Germany by their treason. Knowing this simple fact of early 1920s historical activity is why no Jews were trusted to fight for Germany in WWII and party why the holocaust happened.
Key Wiki is the best source I know of for all orgs/people who are commiepuke oriented. Soros has at least a couple of entries, that’s just a snip. Lists all the organizations he funds, more history of currency manipulation to ruin countries, etc. Key Wiki was started by Trevor Loudon who is a NZer investigative journalist, very excellent man.

Hitler was going to solve the “Jewish problem” by sending them to the ME until the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem advised him to kill them all. Hitler thought it over and went with the Mohammedan plan.
If someone can find it, there was a Live TV interview with Soros, in which he rolls out his life story, and denies nothing, at least within the constraints of the time on the interview. Pretty shocking, but he was matter of fact in his story telling.
Subsequently, Much of what has been subscribed to him seemed to have come from that interview, including his manipulation of economies of nations. (Barack Obama put that fact to use, here, IMHO.)
The interview may have been on foreign film, but I viewed it years ago.
