When Gretchen Carlson heard that NBC News was considering letting people out of their non-disclosure agreements involving alleged sexual misconduct at the network, she couldnt help but think of the NDA she signed with Fox News before her departure three years ago.
It would be nice to be able to be able to tell my full story, Carlson said.
Shes hoping one day she can. The newswoman says shes asked to be let out of her NDA and talked to other Fox News employees who left with similar settlements about pressing the network to be let out of the agreements.
Companies are saying that they want to be open and transparent and that they have worked tirelessly to make their work environments safer, she told The Associated Press. And if thats the truth, then they should let us out.
Carlson got a reported $20 million settlement in 2016 after she sued the network, claiming late Fox News chief Roger Ailes demoted then fired her when she rejected his sexual advances.

I got the description for her but I’d probably risk getting banned from FR if I said it out loud.
Involves corncobs and uncomfortable sitting arrangements....
my only comment is the clothes the women have to wear ... they are poured into those skirts/dresses and sitting down it’s bare half way up the thigh. its no wonder they get a reaction.
For twenty mill..she can keep her big yap shut! Old Roger must have been going blind at that point. I always thought she looked llike those big Norwegian troll dolls!
My, my....is there no end to her avarice (or brass)?
Leni
If it was so important for her to talk, she shouldn’t have signed. She wanted the $$$ more than speaking out.
Why not just get over it?
Pro athletes break their contracts all the time.
I think this stuff is perverse but 20Mill is a lot of cash.
The worst part is when Ailes left, FNews went South and Left.
Helmet-head Gretchen?
Someone should tell Gretchen that she can tell her story—but she would have to give the $20 million back to Fox News. Oh, you mean she wants to keep the money and get to tell her story? “Well,” as the Wizard of Oz opined, “that’s a whore of a different color!”
Once you receive a settlement, you keep your mouth shut. Be glad it wasn’t Bill Clinton; usually he just sics his evil wife on his victims.
Roger Ailes didn't re-sign her because her ratings sucked! She got bailed out by Megyn Kelly!
Afer reading this article on Megyn Kelly, I think she is a LIAR too! She got rid of Ailes to advance her career, have Liberal Street credit over at NBC imho
Her husband is SUPER AGENT Casey Close
He reportedly made $64.7 million in earnings in 2017 for representing some of the top baseball players.
Some of his clients were former baseball players like Derek Jeter & Ryan Howard & current players like Zack Greinke, Masahiro Tanaka, Clayton Kershaw, Zack Greinke & Josh Hamilton
Yep. She wants the settlement money, but not the NDA.

I don't even know how she won Miss America!!!
She is one of the ugliest blondes on FOX News
Out of a 10, Gretchen would rate a 3 of all FOX News blondes!
Gold digging c*t.
Agree, Leni.
Didn’t a “man” rep for Spain in the last Universe pageant?
She needs more than $20 million. Greedy little bitch, Id ay.
