Scent of a Woman. Pacino was able to do that with a 1911 Colt. Blind.
I learned how to strip, clean, and shoot a M-1 in high school ROTC. We could only shoot 22s on campus, to shoot our M-1s, we had to go out
to Ft Benning.
Outstanding.
The Soviet Union lost the Cold War and Russians saw the light and transcends into many American virtues. America won the Cold War and decided to be China.
I flew helicopters in Vietnam but even we were told to never carry an AK-47 just because it’s a better gun than the M-16, because its distinctive sound will draw fire toward yourself.
And that sound goes, “Get down, get down, get down, get down!!!”
You win the Internets today. So true.

Alternate with an assortment of firearms so that any competent child can pick up a firearm and use it or unload it, as the situation may dictate.
“Im fine with teaching them to assemble an AK-47. But why do they have to do it stripped naked?”
Sounds dangerous. You think M1 THUMB does some damage!
OK, he started with the STG 44, the German assault rifle of WW II. He still did a lot of original work and superbly modified it to work under the horrible conditions of a Russian war with frightful cold and mud, making a superbly simple, reliable combat weapon. That was quite an accomplishment.
Eugene Stoner’s 100th birthday will be on 11/22/2022. Just saying.
Wouldn’t it be a hoot to see the reaction of the Lefties if Trump said, “Hey, if the Russians can do it, then so should we.”
Clint Eastwood as Gunnery Sergeant Thomas Highway in “Heartbreak Ridge.” Watch it sometime, a very entertaining movie.
They called it NVP under Communists (basic infantry training) and OBJ (basics of survival) after Communism and AK and PRG are parts of school curriculum in Russia and East Europe dated back to 1950s.
....see the very next FreeP post after this one.....!!
Let’s celebrate the birthdays of John Moses Browning (1911 pistol) and Eugene Stoner (AR-15 / M-16 / M-4) the same way.
Stoner was a genius. I love me some M-16s / M-4s / AR-15’s. Have shot all 3, and many variants. I own the latter, of course, as should all Americans.
I cant believe I did not notice that was Eastwood.
Heartbreak Ridge,,,
I Need to get it!
