As much as I like to think we’re the same in Canada, I very much doubt it. Canada does not have a Bible belt. Christians here are wishy washy and among the most fervent Trump haters. We have nothing but liberal media, whereas at least you have Fox (for what it’s worth) and many conservative talk show hosts. Plus, Canadians are so easily lead by the nose, and we do not share the same passionate patriotism. To prove my point, we just put the biggest idiot back in as P.M. after he showed us how corrupt and inept he really is....add to that, unions are very strong up here.

I really have enjoyed “Victoria” and if it is true to history am learning things about her that I never knew.

I think from my History classes all that I heard was about how strict and prudish she was, not that with all the debauchery going on at the time, she wasn’t right to want morals to reign again.

From Trump’s retweet here I think we can put to bed the idea that the best course of action now is for GOP Senate is to do nothing. POTUS is clearly calling for action now to prevent impeachmet and trial in the Senate.

F) 4 Hse Dems remain non-committed on the impeachment process resolution itself: Brindisi, Golden, Van Drew & Peterson. The first 3 are freshmen who flipped districts from red to blue. Peterson is a Hse veteran. But Trump won his district by 31 pts in ‘16

G) At least 229 Dems are expected to vote for the resolution. Dem OK Rep Horn announced she would be a yea today. Rep. Justin Amash (I-MI) is expected to vote yes.

F) The Hse has 432 mbrs right now, including Dem CA Rep Katie Hill who has not yet resigned. That means the magic number to adopt the impeachment process resolution is 217.

E) Once the Hse starts the vote on the impeachment process resolution (likely late morning), that vote will likely be scheduled for 5 minutes. Result should come in about 7-8 minutes after start of the vote

D) If things are going quickly on impeachment resolution, Hse will likely start its vote SERIES around 10:45 am et. A procedural vote will be up 1st, followed by vote on the resolution itself. Expect the vote on the resolution to start about 25 mins after vote series begins
